Kearsley Train Station
Kearsley Train Station serves Kearsley, Bolton, Greater Manchester. It is located on Stoneclough Road.
Services at the time of writing include trains to Southport and Manchester Oxford Road.

First time visiting these Northern Network Stations | Sim0nTrains Railway Journeys
The idea of this trip is visiting 2 Northern Stations on the Northern Network that Sim0nTrains hasn't filmed before, Kearsley and Bolton.
The reason for the trip to Bolton because even know I changed at Bolton or passed through a few times never had a good filming session of the trains passing, arriving and departing.
Departing Rugeley Town at 0653 to Rugeley Trent Valley on a West Midlands Railway service to change onto the 0709 London Northwestern Railway service to Crewe and then change onto the 0745 CrossCountry Trains service to Stockport and ended up getting there about a good 40 minutes early but managed to catch Transport for Wales Class 175, 175109 (which is Mrs @GLovesTrains, her favourite unit) making a appearance at Stockport. Before catching more Northern Trains services to Manchester Piccadilly and then to Salford Crescent which ended up having to wait another 45 minutes for the Manchester Victoria to Southport service which calls at Kearsley, sadly this station only sees a hourly service.
After my first time filming at this location, I moved on to the next location which is Bolton and to be honest..... it was enjoyable as it was another first time filming at this location.

We do a three day tour around Manchester visited all the stations that I haven't covered yet but also the stations I may of covered but needed revising just to clear them off properly, as always our main aim is to see as many pacers as possible. It was an exceptional hot three days with the moors around Manchester actually becoming the scene of major fires some of which are going on at the moment, three weeks later. Enjoy

We spend another few days around Manchester and a bit of Liverpool collecting more footage of the Pacer units, this will be one of the last video diaries about the units as we have covered all of the stations they stop at and may of them more then twice! But don't worry we have plenty of other locations to go to all over the rail network!

A walk around the reservoirs on Saturday May 5th 2012. It's hard to imagine that this contryside walk of about 6 miles is between the large urban areas of Bolton and Blackburn.

After getting fed up with little to do and what have you I decided to go for a walk and do this short vlog.
I’ve walked between Todmorden and Walsden a few times in the past, but this time I went higher up the hillside west of the railway.
Unfortunately, it didn’t feel safe enough to fly the drone so no drone shots in this video. However, I was high enough up to not really need it!

Wigan North Western Station 23/10/18
All the stations from our two day visit around Liverpool and Manchester, all in the hope of getting a Few Pacer trains while we were around and while these units are around before being replaced in the near future.
Bolton Station 2/4/19
We visit the station at Bolton situated on a junction of lines between Wigan, Blackburn, Chorley and Manchester the station therefore unsurprisingly gets a very regular service all of these services are operated by Northen Rail with the exception of some Trans Pennine Express services which occasionally stop on their way to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
