Deep South of Thailand - Kan Tang (Trang)
I left my overnight stop in Trang (see previous video) and headed towards the pier in order to take a ferry to the island of Koh Muk. Along the way, I stopped off at the charming town of Kan Tang which features a very cute railway station that lies at the end of the Andaman branch line. The town also features Thailand's oldest rubber tree; some tunnels dug by the Japanese during WWII; some nice old buildings in the centre of the town; plus a ferry that takes you across the wide Trang river. If you have time before the ferry to Koh Muk, then why not stop off here en route.

We found paradise in Thailand, that I would say not many foreigners will visit or knows about. Koh Lipe is the popular island in this area, but if you come this far South make sure you visit Koh Adang, and stay at Adang Island Resort! We discovered some of the most incredible waters, and best snorkel spots I've seen in a while! Our stay was incredible, and we hope to visit again one day!

YES this is Paradise on Earth! Koh Mook Island the pearl of the Andaman Sea
Ko Muk #เกาะมุก (also referred to as Koh Mook) is an island in the Southern Andaman Coast region of Southern Thailand. Muk is the Thai word for pearl, so Ko Muk means Pearl Island.
The island is home to a majority Thai-Muslim population, with tourism being the main and almost sole industry. Nearly half of the island is National Park. Cliffs and mountains form the center and northern parts of the islands with a large double-sided beach to the far East point. A further beach lies to the west of the island inside the national park area. However, this beach is now home to a deserted hotel resort which was built without the correct permission from authorities. It is now closed but the beach still accessible.
