SUN CRUISE HOTEL | TOP TOURIST SPOT IN GANGNEUNG, GANGWON | WHEN IN KOREA | KTOP SEAN 얘기
Sun Cruise Resort & Yacht is a hotel resort in Jeongdongjin on the east coast of South Korea. Designed in the image of a cruise ship, notably the Royal Caribbean International Sovereign class, the hotel is 165 meters (541 ft) long and 45 meters (148 ft) tall and overlooks the beach resort.
Built at the top of a large cliff, the hotel looks out over the sea and gives the impression that a cruise ship has run aground.
The hotel has 211 rooms, including bedrooms and apartments, and six function rooms. There are six restaurants serving Korean and European food and a rotating bar on the top floor. Sporting facilities include a netted golf range, a volleyball court, and a fitness club. The cruise ship theme is emphasised by the sound of crashing waves played on speakers throughout the hotel and the use of salt water in the swimming pool.
The resort also contains a park located adjacent to the hotel. Prominent within the landscaped gardens are The Hands of Promise, two giant hands rising from the ground, along with a variety of other sculptures. There is also an observation area with a glass floor suspended above the sea, an exhibition hall, and a lake.
In 2003 the Titanic hotel, a construction with a similar cruise-ship theme, opened in Turkey.

After my New Years-trip to Gangneung at the east coast of South Korea, I really wanted to go again. So in this video I show you my second time in Gangneung, unfortunately only for a day. Still we have been able to see a lot in that short time: The beautiful Jeongdongjin KTX-Station right at the beach, Instagrammable Haslla Art World, a super delicious Soft Tofu Stew for Lunch and a 3 hour hike along the coast with stunning views!

I had the opportunity to visit Korea two months ago, specifically touring around Gangwon Province (Gangwon-do) where the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics will be held at.
Gangwon-do is an up and coming province to go around when you are in Korea, specifically areas such as Gangneung and PyeongChang are two major hotspots that are absolutely beautiful for travellers.

During the Lunar New year I traveled very spontaneously and all alone to the east coast of South Korea to Gangneung. There, within three days, I visited not only Gangmun and Anmok beach, but also some good cafes and traditional Korean sights like Ojukheon and Seongyojang.
In this Video I recommend you 10 of the places I visited in beautiful Gangneung ♡
For various reasons I could not yet see some things... for example: the bus stop in Jumunjin Beach known from the BTS album You never walk alone, the Jeongdongjin Sea Road or the Art museum in the middle of Gangneung.
