Trip to Kampong Thom Province | Cambodia Travel Guide
One of my old trip with the Khmer Tourist Family to Kampong Thom Province. We started from our breakfast in Phnom Penh, travel on National Highway 6 to Skun in Kampong Cham, having lunch at Sea Meas Restaurant. Then we continue Santuk District in Kampong Thom Province. We want to find an old wooden water well but it's flooded. We moved back but it's already dark. We had dinner at Khmer Food Restaurant. it was raining hard, we traveled back to Phnom Penh after dinner. it's an amazing trip. It brought me lots of souvenir and fun.
I'm using Canon G7X Mark II & DJI Phantom 3 Standard Camera for this video.

【VLOG 7】Kampong Cham, Cambodia | Best Places to Visit When You Are There
Welcome to my most touching, fun and longest video in my YouTube channel. Kampong Cham just make me more into something I never expect and it’s fantastic. By spending only short time there but it’s seem so much more I’ve got from this religious and cultural place. There are a ton of old buildings around the biggest market in the central of the city along with nice people. After explore the local for a day, we continued to see the miraculous temple “Nokor Bachey” and it turn me to the old history of the top of Khmer Empire by “Jayavaman VII the Great”. It’s a hidden gem in Kampong Cham. Other days in there, I have visited Koh Pen Island, Mohaleap Temple, The Lighthouse, Phnom Bros Phnom Srey Mountain, Dey Dos Pagoda and few other place that I didn’t remember. I came back Phnom Penh with smile along the way and I realized that I’m not even explore the things, but I just got myself a very good moment. So where to leave my footprint next?

Kampong Cham Province is a land along the Mekong River, covering 4,549 Square Km. This video showing mostly the aerial view of most tourist attraction place in Kampong Cham like Hanchey Bamboo Resort, The Mekong River, Kampong Cham Downtown, Kizuna bridge that link Krong Kampong Cham and Tbong Khmum province, Bamboo Bridge (Koh Pen or Pen island), Muni Garden, and Phnom Pros Phnom Srei resort. We also visit the River grass restaurant along the mekong river. These are the most tourist attraction and destination in Kampong Cham province.

Exploring Kampong Cham Province for Phnom Trob Temple
We heard information about Phnom Trob temple (eggplant mountain temple) in Kampong Cham Province but don't know exactly where it is. We search on google and follow google map but we got lost. We need to ask for direction along the road to the temple. It's actually situated on a small mountain behind Pha.av market at Tum Prong village, Trob Commune, Batheay District, Kampong Cham Province in Cambodia. There're 4 ancient temples but only 3 temples standing, 1 was down. In each temple, there's stone carving of king's and art similar to Kravan temple in Siem Reap Province. We're finally found it, big thanks to Khmer Tourist Family for this trip.

Kampong Cham (Khmer: ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម, IPA: [kɑmpɔːŋ caːm], Port of the Chams) is a province (khaet) of Cambodia located on the central lowlands of the Mekong River. It borders the provinces of Kampong Chhnang to the west, Kampong Thom and Kratié to the north, Tbong Khmum to the east, and Prey Veng and Kandal to the south. Kampong Cham was officially divided into two provinces on 31 December 2013 in what was seen by many as a political move by the ruling party.[2][3] All land west of the Mekong remained Kampong Cham while land east of the river became Tbong Khmum province. Prior to this division, Kampong Cham extended eastward to the international border with Vietnam, was the eleventh largest province in Cambodia, and with a population of 1,680,694, was the most populous province in Cambodia. The Thai people are famously hospitable, and Thailand was one of the first corners of Southeast Asia to really open up to outsiders – helped by the 19th-century king Rama IV, and his love of all things Western. It was Rama IV who launched Thailand on the path to modernisation, and also persuaded his people to swap chopsticks for knives and forks.
This travel smorgasbord has attracted everyone from backpackers to billionaires, and visitors can find any level of comfort they desire, from hippy hostels to five-star palaces. If anything, Thailand has become more upmarket as a destination since its backpacker heyday, with air-conditioning everywhere and almost every hotel offering Thai massages and spa treatments.

Family Trip to Kampong Cham Province | Srey Leak Temple known as Kork Kvet Temple
Another family trip during mid December 2019 to visit an ancient temple in Kampong Cham Province. Van picked us up from home in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh city at around 7am. We had breakfast in Phnom Penh at La-gnor (Sesame) restaurant serving grilled chicken rice, grill pork rice, special noodle soup. After breakfast, we head off to the Cambodian-Japanese friendship bridge know as Spean Chroy Chong Va continued to National Highway No.6A heading to Kampong Cham Province. We turn left at Pha.av market to find Kork Kvet temple. This temple is inside Prasat Kork Kvet Pagoda. Another name is Srey Leak temple located inside Prasat Srey Leak pagoda at Kvet Village, Tang Krosang Commune, Batheay District, Kampong Cham Province in Cambodia.
