[曼谷#24]水門市場海南雞飯，粉紅色的紅大哥水門雞飯 VS 綠色制服的廣興雞飯，你最愛哪一家呢？(Kaomunkai Pratunam, Pink vs Green)
說起曼谷必吃的美食，很多朋友都會提到位於水門市場的水門雞飯，曼谷水門雞飯，一般指就是穿著粉紅色制服的紅大哥(Go-Ang Chicken Rice)和綠色制服的廣興雞飯(Kuang Heng Chicken Rice)這兩家。
這兩家水門雞飯都是老字號了。
其中綠色制服的廣興雞飯，是歷史最悠久的，從1932年就開始在水門市場賣海南雞飯了。
而 1960 年開始的紅大哥，則是更受歡迎一些，在2018年，還獲得了米其林必比登(Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand)的街頭美食推薦。

水門雞飯怎麼去？
水門雞飯的交通路線會比較麻煩一些些，要先搭捷運，然後再走一段不算短的路喔。
首先搭乘 BTS 到 Chit Lom 站下車，然後走空橋(靠近 Big-C 那一側的空橋，不是 Central World 那一邊的喔)，過了 Big-C，空橋就結束了，然後下橋再往前走，接著陸續會看到 SuperRich(綠色、橘色的總店都在這裡，這裡換匯據說也最划算)、水門市場碼頭(Pratunam Pier)，過了碼頭再往前走一些些，就會先看到廣興雞飯，紅大哥則還要再前面幾公尺。
營業時間：
紅大哥海南雞飯營業時間為：
每天早上6點，到下午 2點。
然後下午5點，到凌晨 2點(下午兩點到五點是休息時間)。
廣興雞飯營業時間為 24 小時。

I was recommended by my Malaysian friend that is one of the favourite Hokkien Mee in town, and that it has been operating since 1968. Of course, not by the same hawker, who is pretty young to have been doing the job since different generations.
The Har Mee is available in different sizes. They are priced at RM5.00 , RM6.00 and RM7.00. You may also try the one comes with spare ribs and mantis prawns in different price. The broth is tasty as it is made from boiling the spare ribs and prawns. As soon as I smell the aroma, I know Ah Soon Kor Har Mee stands a good chance to hold its position. It has the full aroma of Penang Hokkien Mee. The lady seated next to be was highly recommended to me for this restaurant was so yummy. As you can see from my video.

If you ever get a chance to visit a market selling local medicines and food, stop and browse. Homeopathic heaven and I can see how many of these would work. But, do you believe a root will cure a hernia? I never did find out what the hairy looking one was supposed to do.
Pomelos are one of my favorite fruits in Asia. Sweeter than a grapefruit, the size of a small melon, thick rind that has to be peeled off before sectioning and eating out of hand. Really good. Try one.
