Suwon is the capital of Gyeonggi Province and is located around 30 kilometers (20 miles) from Seoul. It is easily accessible by vehicle or train from Seoul, yet it is often disregarded by travelers.

Jeju Island, which is South Korea's sole Special Autonomous Province, is located just off the coast of South Korea's southernmost peninsula. In addition to its breathtaking beaches, lava tubes, and verdant environment, the island of Jeju is home to a plethora of exciting theme parks and other tourist attractions.

The region that serves as the border between North and South Korea is known as the demilitarized zone (DMZ). The fighting is supposed to stop in this area. Visitors are welcome in the DMZ; nevertheless, there are several parts of the zone that should be avoided due to the risk of attack. Only a limited section of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), also known as the Joint Security Area, is accessible to the general public.
Number 2. Gyeongju.
The historic capital of the region that was once known as the Silla Kingdom is Gyeongju. Given this information, the age of the city is more than 2,000 years. The city of Gyeongju is an amazing travel destination that is home to a lot of temples as well as cultural events.

Jeonju was not initially on our itinerary for our South Korea trip. But when we couldn't find anywhere to stay in Seoul, we decided to come here for the night. Traditional Korean Food in Jeonju! | South Korea Travel Vlog
We try Jeonju Bibimbap! It's a traditional Korean food consisting of a rice bowl with different ingredients. We went to a highly rated restaurant and nearly burned off all of our taste buds with the spice. It was good! Then we explored. Sadly, we missed the night market due to our timing (it's only on Friday and Saturday in Jeonju).
The next day we tried any and all of the street food/vendor food we wanted! That included haddeok, potato tornado, sugared strawberry sticks, and a couple other things! Including Brianna's new favorite treat - octopus.
If you're looking for a place to stay in Jeonju right in the in Hanok VIllage - we suggest Starlight Rest Area. We loved both the place and the owners. They were excellent!

About Us
We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.
These laidback Youtube videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).

Jeonju, South Korea is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy and if there is only one thing you eat in Jeonju, it must be bibimbap. Picture, beautiful strips of marinated raw pork on a bed of countless ingredients and fragrant rice. At least I thought you came to Jeonju for the bibimbap, but turns out the bulgogi might be the real reason should come to Jeonju.
