Our first stop was the Gurara waterfall in Gurara, Niger state. We went at low tide so the water volume wasn't so high and we saw a few people swimming.

(About ABA)
According to Wikipedia: Aba is a city in the southeast of Nigeria and the commercial center of Abia State. Upon the creation of Abia state in 1991, Aba was divided into two local government areas namely; Aba South and Aba North. Aba south is the main city centre and the heartbeat of Abia State, south-east Nigeria. It is located on the Aba River. Aba is made up of many villages such as; Aba-Ukwu, Eziukwu-Aba, Obuda-Aba, Umuokpoji-Aba and other villages from Ohazu merged due to administrative convenience. Aba was established by the Ngwa clan of Igbo People of Nigeria as a market town and then later a military post was placed there by the British colonial administration[2] in 1901. It lies along the west bank of the Aba River, and is at the intersection of roads leading to Port Harcourt, Owerri, Umuahia, Ikot Ekpene, and Ikot-Abasi.[3] The city became a collecting point for agricultural products following the British made railway running through it to Port Harcourt. Aba is a major urban settlement and commercial centre in a region that is surrounded by small villages and towns. The indigenous people of Aba are the Ngwa. Aba is well known for its craftsmen and also the most populous city in the South Eastern Nigeria. As of 2016, Aba had an estimated population of 2,534,265.[1] The state's slogan is God's own State.

Rivers of the world: the Niger River and its Delta
The Niger River is the main river of West Africa. The river flows from southeastern Guinea to Nigeria and flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The Niger Delta is located in Mali, between the Bani and Niger Rivers in the southwestern part of the country. It is a region of fertile flood meadows and a natural trade artery, making this area the center of the economy, as well as social and urban life of Western Sudan.

Hey Guys!
Welcome to another episode of NahnahVlogs.
Today we visited Ere Esie, I shared three myth stories about how the human turning into stone story came about and also shared the igbomina history...
I did some research...
(Pardon the audio output)
Some highlights:
-1775 was when it was first discovered...
-Cultural myth/believe:They Consulted ifa who said they were humans turned to stone
-Archeologists different school of thoughts says they were carved and are and were not humans.
-They are over 1500-1700 soap stones
-Federal Government took over it in 1975
-Oba Yakubu Babalola, Egunjobi (the second) the present king said they won’t worship after 10years
-The king can’t come here, It is a taboo because there can’t be two kings in a particular place or location,He could visit before he becomes king but not as a king.
-Discovered some 2008 & 2010
-They weigh 105kg per images on an average.
-Modern hairstyle (both male and female) were seen, shukù, galaxy etc
