El Salvador - Santa Ana, El Imposible, El Zonte & Vulcano | Travel video | GoPro 10 & DJI Mini 2
I have to say, that I was a little bit scary about my trip to El Salvador. Because you know, there are many negative information on the internet about El Salvador. Especially about the killing.
I wanted to make my trip by my own self, because I always need to have my own view. And I can say now, that El Salvador was so so so much interesting. The people was so nice, the cities was real and it is completly safe place for tourist. Or maybe not completely, but it was similar like on many places in America, or on my different trips or holidays.
I was able to visit during my trip Santa Ana Volcano, Lake Coatepeque, Concepción de Ataco, Campana San Andrés, Waterfall Salto De Malacatiupan, Tazumal Archaeological Site, Cascadas de Tamanique, Atiquizaya, Joya de Cerén, El Imposible National Park, El Zonte and El Tunco.
V El Salvadoru jsem navštivil tato místa Santa Ana Volcano, Lake Coatepeque, Concepción de Ataco, Campana San Andrés, Waterfall Salto De Malacatiupan, Tazumal Archaeological Site, Cascadas de Tamanique, Atiquizaya, Joya de Cerén, El Imposible National Park, El Zonte a El Tunco.

El Salvador Travel Guide - An Amazing Adventure
El Salvador Travel Guide - An Amazing Adventure
El Salvador is a country in Central America and, geographically, is part of continental North America. It is bordered on the southwest by the Pacific Ocean, and lies between Guatemala and Honduras. It is divided into 14 sections called Departments. It has 25 volcanoes, 14 lakes, and three large cities and is divided in to East, Central and West with the the capital San Salvador in the central region, Santa Ana in the west and San Miguel the largest city in the east.
The civilization of El Salvador dates from the pre-Columbian time, around 1500 BC, according to evidence provided by the ancient structures of Tazumal in Chalchuapa. El Salvador has a tropical climate with pronounced wet and dry seasons. Temperatures vary primarily with elevation and show little seasonal change. The Pacific lowlands are uniformly hot; the central plateau and mountain areas are more moderate.

The countryside of El Salvador is breathtaking, with volcanoes and mountains offering green adventurers exactly what they are looking for. Many of environmentally-oriented community-based organizations promote eco-tourism, and there are a number of beautiful and secluded beaches and forests scattered throughout the country.
A well-maintained and sparsely populated national park is found in the west at Bosque El Imposible. Additionally, there is Montecristo Cloud Forest, and a quaint fishing village with incredible local hospitality and remote coconut islands in La Isla de Méndez. Isla de Olomega in the department of San Miguel is an excellent eco-tourism destination, as are the beautiful Isla El Cajete in Sonsonate, Isla San Sebastian, Conchagua, Conchaguita, Isla Conejo, Isla Teopan, and Isla Meanguera.
One should also visit the colonial towns of Ataco, Apaneca, Juayua, Panchimalco, and Suchitoto as well as the Mayan sites of San Andrés, Joya de Cerén (The Pompeii of Central America and an UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Tazumal, whose main pyramid rises some 75 feet into the air. The on-site museum showcases artifacts from the Pipil culture (the builders of Tazumal), as well as paintings that illustrate life in pre-Hispanic El Salvador. Souvenir hunters will find some of the best artisans in San Juan el Espino and in La Palma (the artisan capital of El Salvador).
The capital, San Salvador, is a cosmopolitan city with good restaurants highlighting the country’s fresh seafood, as well as plenty of shopping, entertainment and nightlife. San Miguel in the East offers tourists a more authentic way to see El Salvador by getting off the beaten track to see its countryside, coastline and lakes

El Salvador Volcan Izalco is a great place to visit when ever you are in El Salvador. Trini-Media is in El Salvador and we will be visiting different sites.

Active volcano hike in El Salvador
The tallest volcano in El Salvador, Ilamatepec, also known as the Santa Ana Volcano, can be hiked to witness a stunning turquoise sulfur-filled crater at the top 🌋
It is located in the Cerro Verde National Park and is home to another active stratovolcano, Izalco, of which you also get fantastic views during the hike 🌄
The park charges a fee to enter and to park a car, there is a fee the mandatory guide, and another fee to hike the volcano ($24 total for one adult tourist). This approximately 4 hour hike is definitely challenging, but manageable for most people 🥾
The air at the top is a little difficult to breathe because of the sulfur and it’s not recommended to stay for too long. But all of the work to get to the summit is so worth it! 💪🏽
Would you get up close and person with an active volcano?!

Santa Ana - Our Favorite City in El Salvador! (El Salvador Travel Guide 2022)
Santa Ana is El Salvador's second largest city and it's the perfect hub to experience all of the epic attractions you can find in Western El Salvador.
All within an easy day trip from Santa Ana:
The country's tallest volcano, Volcan de Santa Ana (Santa Ana Volcano). Which you can easily hike to the summit of and look down at an epic turquoise crater lake that's literally steaming. On a clear day, you can even see the Pacific Ocean from up there, and plenty of other volcanos.
Lago de Coatepeque, an epic lake in the crater of a volcano that you can swim in. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, and hotels.
Ruta de las Flores (Route of the Flowers), a road that takes you through numerous small colonial towns, famous for their flowers, art, colonial architecture, and mountain scenery. The towns are surrounded by waterfalls and gorgeous nature, and the route has several coffee farms along the way.
You can also visit ancient Maya ruins from Santa Ana and tour coffee farms. It's an epic area to do a lot. If you have time, you can also visit Guatemala and Honduras, both of which are easily accessible from this part of El Salvador.
Beyond the nearby attractions though, the city of Santa Ana itself is an absolute hidden gem in Central America and it quickly became our favorite city in El Salvador. As well as one of our favorites in all of Central America! It's a lively and active city with a ton of culture and spirit, lots of history, an amazing food scene, and a unique blend of old and new. Away from all the action, you can easily escape into one of dozens of quiet and peaceful streets and neighborhoods filled with flowers and fruit trees and dotted with cafes and pupuserias.
We love Santa Ana and in this video we take you around the city, introduce you to some of our friends, and show you some of the things you can't miss when you visit.
Have you been to El Salvador? If not, would you consider going?
We highly recommend it! When you do go, make sure you don't skip out on Santa Ana!

Hiking the Cerro Verde Volcano, El Salvador Vlog 09
Hi sweet friends! and welcome back to my channel. On today's episode, I take you with me as we hike the Cerro Verde Crater. To get there, we needed to travel to The Cerro Verde National Park in El Salvador which is about 1.5 hours away from the city of San Salvador. The park is a natural protected area with three volcanoes, a great climate, incredible views, and beautiful trails for exploring the diverse species of flora and fauna here in El Salvador.
In this video, we decided to take the easier hike which was about 45 minutes long along the old crater of the Cerro Verde Volcano. We were joined by an incredibly knowledgable guide who shared with us the history of this place.
On the hike you will stop and see the Santa Ana volcano and the Coatepeque lake. I also share some stunning views of the Izalco volcan which I hope to be able to hike while in El Salvador.
I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for the continued support. I am so excited to continue to share my adventures with you in this beautiful country!
