শাহ জালাল রহ. ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশের বিখ্যাত একজন সুফি দরবেশ। তার পুরো নাম শেখ শাহ জালাল কুনিয়াত মুজাররদ। ৭০৩ হিজরী মোতাবেক ১৩০৩ খ্রিষ্টীয় সালে ৩২ বছর বয়সে ইসলাম ধর্ম প্রচারের লক্ষ্যে অধুনা বাংলাদেশের সিলেট অঞ্চলে এসেছিলেন বলে ধারণা করা হয়। তার সিলেট আগমনের সময়কাল নিয়ে যদিও বিভিন্ন অভিমত রয়েছে।
হযরত শাহজালালের মাজার সিলেটের অন্যতম প্রধান দর্শনীয় স্থান, যা সিলেট সদরের অন্তর্গত। এটি সিলেট শহরের ঠিক মধ্যস্থলে এবং '০' পয়েন্টের ১ কিলোমিটারের মধ্যে অবস্থিত। স্থানীয়ভাবে এলাকাটিকে দরগা এলাকা এবং প্রবেশপথটিকে দরগা গেইট বলা হয়।
সিলেটের মধ্যখানে টিলার উপর চিরনিদ্রায় শায়িত আছেন হযরত শাহজালাল (রহ:) এর মাজারজেয়ারতের জন্য দেশের নানা প্রান্ত থেকে প্রতিদিনইধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে হাজার হাজার মানুষ সিলেট আসেন।
শাহজালাল চরণস্পর্শ পাওয়ার কারণেই সিলেটকে অনেকেই পূণ্যভূমি হিসেবে অভিহিত করেন।
হযরত শাহজালাল (রহ:)একজন বিখ্যাত দরবেশ ও পীর। তাঁকে ওলিকুল শিরোমণি হিসেবেও আখ্যায়িত করা হয়ে থাকে।
সিলেট অঞ্চলে তাঁর মাধ্যমেই ইসলামেরপ্রসার ঘটে। সিলেটের প্রথম মুসলমান শেখ বুরহান উদ্দিনের ওপর রাজা গৌরগোবিন্দের অত্যাচার এবং এর প্রেক্ষিতে হযরত শাহজালাল (র) ও তাঁর সফরসঙ্গী ৩৬০ আউলিয়ার সিলেট আগমন ইতিহাসের একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য ঘটনা।
মাযার অর্থ যিয়ারতগাহ। যিয়ারত করার স্থান। আমরা সবাই ইন্তিকাল করবো। এরপর কিয়ামত পর্যন্ত আমাদের পার্থিব ঠিকানা হলো কবর। বিশিষ্ট বুযুর্গানে দ্বীনের কবর বেশি যিয়ারত করা হয় বলে তাঁদের কবরকে মাযার বলা হয়।
হাদীস শরীফে আমরা কবর যিয়ারতে উৎসাহমূলক বক্তব্য দেখতে পাই। কারণ এতে আমাদের পরকালীন জীবনের কথা মনে হয় এবং দুনিয়াবি কাজের প্রতি বিমুখতা তৈরী হয়।
এমনকি রাসুলুল্লাহ (সল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) নিজেও বাকী গোরস্তানে সাহাবীদের কবরগুলো যিয়ারত করতেন, উহুদের ময়দানে শহীদদের কবর যিয়ারত করতেন।
সাহাবীগণ পরবর্তীতে তাঁর রওজা শরীফ যিয়ারত করেছেন। তাই মাযার যিয়ারত সুন্নাত এবং শরীয়াতসম্মত আমল-এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। কেউ মাযার যিয়ারতকে এনকার করলে তার অর্থ সুন্নাতে নববীকে এনকার করা।
যাই হোক, কি কি শিরক-বিদায়াত ও অন্যায় কর্মকাণ্ড মাজার এলাকায় হয়, দেখা যাক:
*মাজার উদ্দেশ্য করে সিজদা দেয়া
*মোমবাতি জ্বালানো
*মাজারের চারপাশ ঘিরে তাওয়াফ করা
*মাজারে এসে মনের আশা পূর্ণ হবে এজন্য মান্নত করা।
*বাদ্যযন্ত্র বাজিয়ে নাচ গান করা।
*মাজারে শায়িত বুযুর্গকে ঘুষ দেয়ার অংশি হিসেবে মাজারের উপর টাকা ছিটানো। শিরকের পর এটাই সবচেয়ে জঘন্য কাজ বলে আমার মনে হয়। যে বুযুর্গ সারাজীবন দুনিয়া বিমুখ ছিলেন, তাঁকে এভাবে অসম্মানিত করা খুব গর্হিত কাজ। কেউ যদি মাজার স্টেট চালানোর জন্য খরচ করতে চায়, সেটা ভিন্নভাবে দিলে দিতে পারে।

A gender-reveal party ( GRP ) is an event or celebration had during pregnancy. The primary goal of this event is the eponymous reveal of the fetal sex to the expecting parents, family, and friends.Gender reveal parties come in a few broad types: Parties where everyone knows the gender of the baby but the parents. Parties where only the parents know the gender of the baby, and want to surprise loved ones. Parties where only one person knows the gender of the baby, and wants to surprise the parents and loved ones.
A baby shower is a party of gift-giving or a ceremony that has different names in different cultures. It celebrates the delivery or expected birth of a child or the transformation of a woman into a mother. Traditionally, baby showers are given only for the family's first child, and only women are invited,[2] though this has changed in recent years, now allowing showers being split up for different audiences: workplace, mixed-sex, and feminist.[3] Activities at baby showers include gift-giving and playing themed games.
Baby shower games vary, sometimes including standard games such as bingo, and sometimes being pregnancy-themed, such as guess the mother's measurements or guess the baby. These games help let the close friends attending the shower bond with the mother, and enable the new family to say thanks ahead of time, figuring out who is willing and able to help them with the challenges of bringing up a child.
