Wales is a country rich in history and culture, with a beautiful landscape that ranges from the rugged mountains of Snowdonia to the golden beaches of the Gower Peninsula. The country's capital city, Cardiff, is a lively and cosmopolitan place, while Wales's other cities, such as Swansea and Newport, offer a more traditional Welsh experience. Places To Visit In North Wales - Brilliant Locations To See
Are you visiting North Wales? Do you want to know some of the best places to visit in North Wales? - If so, this is the vlog for you.
In this places to visit North Wales video, we show you a number of places where you are guaranteed a wonderful time, where the scenery is second to none.
We head in to the heart of Snowdonia, we visit some stunning beaches, take in some waterfalls and much much more.
We visit the beautiful town of Llangollen, where we look at the town, Plas Newydd, Dinas Bran and Valle Crucis.
No visit to North Wales is complete without a look at the incredible Conwy Castle and the charming surrounding town, where you can walk the walls and visit the smallest house in Great Britain.
Next it's the stunning beaches of Newborough and Llanddwyn Island on Anglesey. We also take a look at Beaumaris and take a trip down the Menai Straight on a rib boat.
If it's a sunset walk you want, be sure to check out Moel Famau on the Clwydian Range.
The Victorian seaside town of Llandudno is next, with it beautiful pier, before heading up to the Great Orme with it's beautiful views, ski slope and toboggan run.
Betws Y Coed is another beautiful part of North wales, where we visit Swallow Falls and The Fairy Glen.
The beautiful Criccieth is next with it's stunning castle and beaches - don't forget the great ice cream shop. We also visit the nearby Black Rock Sands.
Be sure to visit the mystical small town of Beddgelert, the place where legends are made. You can also visit the near by Sygun Copper Mine.
Barmouth is one of the most beautiful seaside towns in North Wales, check out the short boat trip or take the Panorama walk over looking the town.
If steam trains and lakes are your thing, then be sure to visit Bala with it lakeside steam train.
Finally, a bit of Italy in Wales in the form of the stunning, Portmeirion. Not only a place of absolute beauty, but also the filming location for the TV series, The Prisoner.

Places to see in ( Holyhead - UK )
Holyhead is the largest town in the county of Isle of Anglesey in Wales. Holyhead is also a community and a major Irish Sea port, serving Ireland. Holyhead is neither the county town nor actually on the island of Anglesey. Holyhead is located on Holy Island
Holyhead was originally connected to Anglesey via Four Mile Bridge, so called because the bridge was four miles (6 km) from Holyhead on the old turnpike Road. In the mid 19th century, Lord Stanley, a local philanthropist, funded the building of a larger causeway, known locally as The Cobb, it now carries the A5 and the railway line. The A55 dual carriageway runs parallel to the Cobb on a modern causeway.
The Port of Holyhead has a busy ferry port. Stena Line, Northern Europe's biggest ferry company, operates from the port, as do Irish Ferries. Ferries sail to Dublin, in Ireland; this forms the principal link for surface transport from central and northern England and Wales to Ireland. There is archaeological evidence that people have been sailing between Holyhead and Ireland for 4,000 years
With the opening of the railway from London to Liverpool, Holyhead lost the London to Dublin Mail contract in 1839 to the Port of Liverpool. Only after the completion of the Chester and Holyhead Railway in 1850 and the building of Holyhead railway station did the Irish Mail return to Holyhead, operated from London Euston by the London and North Western Railway.
Holyhead is the terminus of the North Wales Coast Line and is currently served by Virgin Trains and Arriva Trains Wales services. Virgin Trains run direct trains to London Euston and Arriva Trains Wales operate direct trains towards Cardiff and Birmingham International via Wrexham and Shrewsbury, and two direct trains per day to Manchester Piccadilly.
Holyhead Port is a major employer, most of the jobs being linked to ferry services to the Republic of Ireland operated by Stena and Irish Ferries. Other significant industrial/transport sector employers in Holyhead include Holyhead Boatyard, Gwynedd Shipping, and Eaton Electrical, with the last of these having seen many job losses in 2009.

🇬🇧 12 Hour in Wales Itinerary ⬇️
Located 2 hours away from Manchester is where you’ll find the best fish & chips in the UK (the best I’ve ever had) + a cute little neighborhood with so many stores to shop from. Although my time was short, I was so lucky to explore so much of what Wales had to offer with @VisitWales and of course, bought goodies for friends & family back home!
📌 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽
Wales is was perfect for the weekend so here’s an itinerary on things to do:
🏰 Take a direct train with @tfrwail from Manchester and get off at Llandudno Junction. Your trip should take about 2-2.5 hours one way 🚉
🏰 Once you arrive, grab coffee at @providerocoffee ☕️
🏰 Then, steps away is where you’ll find the best fish & chips I’ve ever had at @enochsfishchips 🐟 They even have a spicy option (which I obviously got) — it’ll be hard not finishing your plate
🏰 Check into your hotel. I stayed at @castlehotelconwy and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay since it’s in the center of all the tourist attractions, has such welcoming staff, and amazing food options downstairs!
🏰 Head over to Conwy Castle and admire it’s architecture — it’s hard to miss as you’ll see views of it in every corner of town.
🏰 Since Conwy is walkable, head downtown and shop around all the stores! Conwy is actually known for their salt & obviously had to buy some for home!
🏰 View the Smallest House in Great Britain. Just make sure you get there before 4pm because they will not let anyone in before that but it’s quite the site
🏰 Visit Plas Mawr and admire the beautiful rooms and gardens 🌸
🏰 Dine in and eat dinner at the @castlehotelconwy 🥘
🏰 Grab dessert at @parisellasicecream_parlour — they’re Ferraro Chocolate was mouthwatering 🤤
🏰 Catch sunset at North Shore Beach 🌅 Viewing the Victorian Houses along the mountains was my favorite part of the trip
