A day in Duluth, Minnesota : Lake Superior ( 4K HD )
Duluth is the largest city sitting on Lake Superior shore in Minnesota and the neighboring region. The metro population is about 300,000 but it feels like the capital of the whole Lake Superior. I was only there for a day but one thing that stroke me is how foggy Duluth was. Foggy, maybe cloudy, though far from gray. It has its character, the city is vibrant and culturally rich. If you want to try great seafood (or should I say lakefood) cooked by the greatest chefs, Duluth is your destination. It is also a hilly place, your drive is always up and down and the hills open spectacular views on the town and the bay. And those are the view I tried to take for this video.
Thanks for watching and hit me up with questions if you have them. Enjoy!

2022 4 days short road trip to Minnesota USA, and I drove up to Hibbing where I used to go to Hibbing high school there for 1 year. Not much change and not much people walking around in the town as usual. Too bad the grand high school was closed on Sunday. Otherwise I'd give a tour inside!! It doesn't look like a school at all.

International Falls, MN | A 4K City Walking Tour
International Falls, MN is located on the Rainy River directly across from Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. The two cities are connected by the Fort Frances–International Falls International Bridge. Voyageurs National Park is located 11 miles east of International Falls. There is a major U.S. Customs and Border Protection Port of Entry on the International Falls side of the toll bridge and a Canadian Customs entry point on the north side of the bridge. International Falls is nicknamed the Icebox of the Nation,” with an average of 109.4 days per year with a high temperature below 32 °F (0 °C).
The area now known as International Falls was inhabited by many indigenous peoples. The International Falls area was well known to explorers, missionaries, and voyagers as early as the 17th century. It was not until April 1895 that the community was platted by L. A. Ogaard, a teacher and preacher for the Koochiching Company, and named Koochiching. The word “Koochiching” comes from either the Ojibwe word Gojijiing or the Cree Kocicīhk, both meaning “at the place of inlets,” referring to the neighboring Rainy Lake and River. The European inhabitants gave the names Rainy Lake and Rainy River to the nearby bodies of water because of the mist-like rain present at the falls where the lake flowed into the river. On August 10, 1901, the village was incorporated and two years later its name was changed to International Falls in recognition of the river's role as a border between the United States and Canada. It was incorporated as a city in 1909.

Minneapolis and Duluth, Minnesota Driving Tour
The video, captured by the USTour Channel, is a thorough journey through the urban landscapes and suburban neighborhoods of Minnesota. The footage unfolds in three segments, each depicting distinct locations and their unique atmospheres.
The video begins with a first-person perspective, essentially giving the viewer a passenger's seat in a virtual tour across the city. The timestamp at 00:00 marks the beginning of the journey from the renowned Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to Marshalls Store.
Initially, the viewer is introduced to the grandeur of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, a modernistic 11-acre park in downtown Minneapolis that is home to more than 40 permanent art installations. The cityscape transitions from the artistic, open greenery of the park to the more bustling urban life as the video progresses.
Moving along the streets, you witness the pulsating energy of Minneapolis. The blend of modern high-rises and historic buildings creates a captivating urban canvas. Pedestrians and cyclists contribute to the lively cityscape. Shops, eateries, and commercial establishments line the streets, offering a kaleidoscope of local culture and commerce.
The first section of the journey concludes at the Marshalls Store, a popular retail outlet known for offering a variety of branded goods at affordable prices. The store represents the commercial vitality of the city, serving as a fitting end to this segment.
At the 06:20 timestamp, the scene transitions to Duluth, MN. Starting from Kenwood Ave, the video takes you to Sam's Club in Hermantown, MN. Duluth presents a contrasting cityscape to Minneapolis. Situated along the shores of Lake Superior, the city is known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreational activities.
Kenwood Avenue is a blend of residential and commercial areas, displaying the quintessential suburban lifestyle. As you move further from Kenwood, the video guides you along an exciting journey through Duluth's charming streets. The landscape transitions from the urban panorama of Duluth to the more relaxed atmosphere of Hermantown.
The endpoint of this segment, Sam's Club, is a membership-only retail warehouse club, which is a symbol of the town's thriving local economy and the conveniences it offers its residents.
Finally, at the 09:03 mark, the video takes the viewer back to Duluth, MN, from the Walmart Store in Hermantown to Kenwood Ave in Duluth. The Walmart Store in Hermantown, much like Sam's Club, is indicative of the large suburban community's lifestyle and economy.
As the camera begins its course back to Duluth, you can admire the harmonious blend of man-made structures and nature in this scenic city. The tour ends at Kenwood Avenue, bringing the viewer full circle back to the charming, suburban landscape where the second section commenced.
Overall, the video provides a comprehensive visual journey through different parts of Minnesota, capturing the essence of both the buzzing city life and the tranquil suburban life. It is not only informative but also serves as a fascinating virtual tour for anyone interested in the architecture, culture, and lifestyle of these places.
