Places to see in ( North Walsham - UK )
Places to see in ( North Walsham - UK )
North Walsham is a market town and civil parish in Norfolk, England within the North Norfolk district. North Walsham is 7.5 miles (12.1 kilometres) south of Cromer and the same distance north of Wroxham. The county town and city of Norwich is 15 miles (24 kilometres) south. The town is served by North Walsham railway station, on the Bittern Line between Norwich, Cromer and Sheringham. The main road through the town of North Walsham is the A149. Also, North Walsham is located on the B1145.
North Walsham is on the North Walsham & Dilham Canal, still privately owned by the North Walsham Canal Company. The canal ran from Antingham Mill, largely following the course of the River Ant to a point below Honing. A short branch canal leaves the main navigation near Honing and terminates at the village of Dilham.
North Walsham was involved in the Peasants' Revolt of 1381. The peasants' leaders were defeated at the Battle of North Walsham and the site is marked by a wayside stone near the town's water towers.
North Walsham High School is a community school, for pupils aged 11 to 16 located in the town. The school includes a £5.3m arts and education development called the Atrium which is open to the wider community, funded by the initial co-location funds of reanimating communities. The building belongs to North Walsham High School, but the theatre, cinema, workshop and events programme is run by a registered charity. The charity (The Atrium North Norfolk Ltd) formed in early 2013 and operates as 'the Atrium'.
North Walsham now has a cinema once again, in the form of the Atrium which opened in 2011. The Atrium is a state-of-the-art theatre and cinema with regular screenings and special events around the films. North Walsham is home to a London 1 North rugby team. North Walsham R.F.C. narrowly missed out on promotion to National League 2 in 2005-06, losing a play-off to Nuneaton.
( North Walsham - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of North Walsham . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in North Walsham - UK

Shocking reality about working in London ll UK part 3
London's Southall district is a vibrant area known for its large South Asian community, particularly Indian and Pakistani. Nicknamed Little India or Little Punjab, Southall offers a unique cultural experience. The main street, Southall Broadway on Uxbridge Road, bustles with shops selling spices, jewelry, and clothing. Delicious aromas waft from restaurants serving up samosas, dosas, and traditional sweets like jalebis. A must-see is the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, one of the biggest Sikh temples outside of India, with its stunning architecture and welcoming atmosphere.

EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE PARISH #134: HEDON
Hedon – “High Hill”
With the vast majority of the Holderness Coast now complete, we turn our attention to some areas closer to Hull. This is one of the most historic towns on the Eastern side of the city.
A classic example of a Norman town, initially it was set up as a Royal Mint town, and produced silver pennies. It became a very important port, one of the largest in the country at one time.
It’s a big one this, and loaded with history, so lets check out what’s on offer.

My Hull Weekend at the Kingstown Hotel (2023-24)
Another hotel holiday worth uploading as a photo montage video, I first had the idea at staying at the Kingstown Hotel in Hedon after deciding to swap places with Wendy's friend Karen who lives in Hull when Wendy wanted the house to herself and her friends on Friday and Saturday night, so the idea came up in early 2023 because I wanted to go to Big Fun in Hull anyway. It started as a rather daft bus journey getting the B5 to Lincoln, the 103 to Scunthorpe via Kirton in Lindsey, the 350 to Hull and finally the 75 to my destination in Hedon. My hotel was chosen as a Greene King Hotel with it's Hungry Horse pub and Wacky Warehouse to tie-in with my main reason for the trip; the Big Fun Adult Night that Friday, as I planned on doing the walkthrough video of it, but mistakenly when I booked via Booking.com, I had booked the Double Room without the breakfast included as there was a breakfast included option on the site, and I ended up paying for the breakfast as it couldn't be amended, but it meant that I could choose either the hotel breakfast menu or the Hungry Horse breakfast menu. Nice to have the same hotel for the two nights though.
The next day on Saturday saw myself going on a trip to Scarborough, again I had crazily travelled by bus all the way as after getting the 75 into Hull, I got the 121 to Bridlington and then the 12 from there to Scarborough. Although there wasn't much to do in the winter season as I originally only intended to go to the The Train Shop there to buy the 1:75 scale ERTL Batman Joker Van for Ollie, surprisingly I had learnt that the Scarborough Spa Cliff Lift was back open after being closed throughout much of 2022, and it became the main reason for the Scarborough trip, to film the tram journey on that funicular railway, meaning that I had done all three funicular railways in Yorkshire.
I also recieved some Wacky Warehouse goodies too that day before I set off, which were mainly stickers and an activity book to add to my Wacky collection, a nice way to tie-in after my soft play visit to Big Fun on Friday night.🥰
That Saturday night afterwards saw me chatting to a family in the pub before editing my Big Fun videos together on my laptop and having a bath in my hotel room.
Sunday morning saw my departure back home, but not before I had my breakfast and a game of pool. I travelled by train on the way back home, but only because not all the bus services I travelled on the way to Hull ran on a Sunday.
Series 2 saw some changes to my Kingstown Hotel weekend, whilst it retained the Friday night trip to Big Fun and the Saturday trip to Scarborough, I had wisely decided to travel by train, but it was only because I wanted to avoid the roads as much as possible, due to it being a bank holiday weekend, and hurrah, I had not made the mistake of booking the room without the hotel breakfast included, but it also meant that I only had the hotel breakfast, as you still had to pay for anything from the Hungry Horse breakfast menu. It also had the addition of filming a tour of my hotel room for my channel, and in both nights, I had a Gelli Baff in my hotel room, since I enjoy releasing my inner child. It was also a holiday over Easter, meaning that things in Scarborough were more in-season as I had explored the Scarborough North Bay Railway, filmed the open-top bus journey between the North and South Bays and was able to go to Luna Park to ride the Exposure, since Miamis are my favourite fairground ride. Less time was also spent in Hull, as on the Friday afternoon, as well as filming the hotel room tour, I bought some Wacky Warehouse socks from the Wacky, (again for my Wacky Warehouse collection, but also as a holiday gift for the kids in my extended family; Ollie, Hallie, Ivy and Lila) before buying a meal in the Hungry Horse pub, which I didn't get to do in the last series due to me being more focussed on exploring Hull. I was also able to have the proper time to chat to a group of people and have a few beers on the Saturday evening too, and rather surprisingly, I recieved a free Easter Egg from the hotel team ready for me to eat on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday again was time for me to go home, but on this occasion I spent my morning meeting the Easter Bunny during my breakfast, but it was a funny moment when at the last minute I ended up missing my 10:30 bus to Hull due to suddenly realising that I had forgot to return my hotel room key and went back to the hotel to return it, meaning that I had to wait another hour to get the 75 bus back to Hull from Hedon. Good thing that my booked seat on the train was at 12:40 though.
So overall, this is defintely one of the only few hotel holidays that I enjoy doing, and the staff at the Kingstown Hotel make me feel very welcome indeed. I hope to return again in the future.

Uncover the Enchanting Beauty of Bridlington: A Visual Journey
Bridlington is located on the east coast of Yorkshire. Two beaches are separated by the Quay which is a working fishing port. Beautiful fine golden sands are raked early in the morning in readiness for hordes of beach lovers. Hidden away in Bridlington's old town with character are buildings that have been used in film sets, a museum, and the Priory church.
Follow North beach and eventually, you come to Sewerby Hall, a grand Georgian house and estate. Here you can walk through landscaped gardens, take in refreshments at its cafe, look around the house, or visit the zoo.
Not far from Bridlington is Flamborough Head which is an important wildlife haven for seals and birds. Marvel at the lighthouse or take a walk around the many paths.
Bridlington has a train station and plenty of buses. Nearby you have Scarborough and a bit further afield York.

A Guide To: Beverley, East Yorkshire
A guide around one of the most beautiful towns in Yorkshire. This Cathedral town was one of three in the medieval period alongside York and Ripon.
However, its history goes back to 700AD when the Minster church was founded. Its historu can be traced through its buildings from around 1200 up to today - a lot predominantly date from around 1800.
Using 4k film from a car and a hand held camera along its streets, intercut with photographs and maps, as well as other exclusive footage shot in the town; we follow a circular route showing you what to see on a day visit - even if you live here, you'll find something new out!
This is part of @aroundaboutyorkshire2776 an ever growing series of films that will cover every part (well, almost!) that have been compiled from a series of 170 talks that has taken 5 years to compile. Other Guides include: The Great Wold Valley (East Yorkshire); Ribblesdale (Yorkshire Dales) and the Upper Dearne Valley (West Yorkshire) and a further 70 videos on Yorkshire.
