Pyongyang (/ˈpjɒŋˈjæŋ/; (Chosŏn'gŭl: 평양; hancha: 平壤), Korean pronunciation: [pʰjʌŋjaŋ], literally: Flat Land or Peaceful Land, approved: P’yŏngyang;[8] several variants) is the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), commonly known as North Korea, of which it is the largest city. Pyongyang is located on the Taedong River about 110 kilometres (68 mi) upstream from its mouth on the West Korea Sea and, according to preliminary results from the 2008 population census, has a population of 3,255,388.[10] The city was split from the South Pyongan province in 1946. It is administered as a directly governed city (chikhalsi, 직할시) on the same level as provincial governments, as opposed to a special city (teukbyeolsi, 특별시) as Seoul is in South Korea.

This is a video when I was cycling around Munsudong District in Pyongyang, 10 December 2015. Enjoy!!
Frozen Wheels in Pyongyang - North Korea - Part 2
READ THE DESCRIPTION, PLEASE.
Thank you for watching my video.. many people thought I am doing propaganda.. I just wanna share my daily life in Pyongyang, and doing this by my own will.
I know what I am doing is a little 'dangerous', but I think many people outside want to know about North Korea... I hate if somebody comments negatively to my video, they didn't give a respect to my work, I try to give a glimpse of important information about North Korea through my video.. I think they should give me a little respect, I don't care about politic situation in North Korea, that's not my business, every country has they own system and no of them is perfect.
And many people asking me ‘why I’m not taking video of the country side?” because when I visit the countryside of North Korea, I just taking pictures not videos. “why only pictures?” because it was not really free for me to do filming and I focus to do my job. I have free time when I was in Pyongyang usually in my weekend and then I do the filming while doing my regular activity.
So thanks again for give me positive comments.
=========================================
Since I came to Pyongyang in November 2012 until I left Pyongyang in March 2016 I got so many experiences.
I just wanna share a bit of my life experience in North Korea, mostly in Pyongyang. We are foreigners (Diplomats, Expatriates) who live in Pyongyang can roam freely around Pyongyang, and diplomats got more privileged than other expatriates.
There are also many Americans (USA), Canadians, Korean American who works as teachers and professors in Pyongyang.
Foreigners can travel to other cities outside Pyongyang, but we must request permission to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea.
Since I lived in North Korea, I already travel to other cities in Northern, Western, Southern and Eastern side. Sometimes I travel with a minder, sometimes I just drive my car by my own and with my family (without a minder).

Bangapsemnida | North Korea Song | 평양 가수 | Lagu Kenangan Saat Backpacker ke Korea Utara
Pyongyang, Selasa, 2 April 2019
Bangapsemnida! Nice to meet you!
Jangan lupa like, comment. share. dan subscribe ya! Aktifkan juga tanda dering berupa lonceng!

This is my first attempt to enter the newly opened Mirae Scientist's Street..I drove from my neighbourhood in Foreigner's compound in Munsu District, went alongside Taedong River in Pyongyang city, but unfortunately, there is a checkpoint before entering the newly Mirae Scientist Street. Finally, can I go inside?
Continuation of the previous video.
