Kansalakan Enchanted River | Travel Negros | Guihulngan City | Tourism Philippines
Kansalakan Enchanted River is located in the highland of Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental. Approximately, 1hour and 11 minutes from the City which is 37.4 kilometers.
Another one of the best tourist attractions that features deep and clean water and is best known for bathing and cliff jumping site most especially for locals and tourist as well. But this beauty of nature is a bit far from the city and its like a hidden spot.
According to the locals here, this river is known to have blue water but during my second visit still I did not see what they told to me (I'm a bit sad 😞) but still amazed of this one true nature's wonder.

1. Mount Pulag
Location: Borders between Benguet and Ifugao
How to get there: Take a bus from Manila to Baguio City, then head towards Kabayan, Benguet using local jeepneys. Make sure you bundle up for both the bus and the mountain as it gets COLD! If you feel like trekking more mountains, you can also head up towards abra to trek up Mt. Bullagao.
2. Mount Daguldul
Location: Batangas
How to get there: From Manila, take a bus to Lipa City, Batangas. Then, hire a jeepney towards Hugom, San Juan, Batangas.
3. Mount Pinatubo
Location: Near Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga
How to get there: Take a bus from Manila to Capas, Tarlac. Then head to Santa Juliana and on to Sitio Daipili. As the trek up requires a 4×4, consider joining an organized tour if you are traveling along to help offset the expense. Check out our detailed account below for details on how to organize.
4. Mount Kanlaon
Location: Negros
How to get there: From Dumaguete City or Bacolod, take a bus to Wasay or Guintubdan drop-off points.
5. Mount Apo
Location: Near Davao City and Davao del Sur
How to get there: From Davao City, head to Digos or Kidapawan via a local jeepney.
6. Mount Mariveles
Location: Bagac, Bataan
How to get there: From Manila, take a bus to Mariveles, Bataan.
7. Mount Pico De Loro
Location: Cavite
How to get there: From Metro Manila, at the Coastal Mall, take a bus going to Ternate, Cavite. Then take a tricycle to the DENR registration site.
8. Mount Kitanglad Range
Location: Bukidnon, Mindanao
How to get there: From Cagayan de Oro Airport, take a bus to Malaybalay. Take a bus to the crossing Impasug-ong and then a motorbike taxi to Intavas.
9. Taal Volcano
Location: Tagaytay / Batangas
How to get there: From Manila, you can take a bus/van to Tagaytay. From here, you can ride a local jeep or tricycle to Talisay, Batangas. From there, you have to take a boat ride across to start climbing.
10. Mount Mayon
Location: Bicol
How to get there: From Manila, hop on a bus heading towards Legaspi which takes 9-10 hours. Alternatively, you can also fly to Legazpi City if you’re short on time.
11. Mount Kabunian
Location: Benguet
How to get there: Bacun is far from Baguio, five to six hours ride by a rented jeep, most of it is on rough roads.
12. Mount Guiting-Guiting
Location: Romblon
How to get there: Take a ferry from Batangas or Roxas City or Kalibo to Romblon’s Sibuyan Island.

🔹 A journey of 2-3 hours hike from Mambukal Resort will surely drain your body energy but the ambiance along the way is so cool, you can feel the freshness of the air and the waters running on this stream is cold as ice.
🔹 This waterfall is just 10 mins down hike from Magtahos Camping grounds. Up there, the view there is so panoramic. You can see the valley of Murcia, Bago City up to the City of lights of Bacolod City during at night. Mt. Canlandog and the mountain ridges of Patag Silay and Talisay can also be seen at the camping site.
🔹 So what are you waiting for, take a dip in the coldness of Murcia and enjoy this astonishing waterfall - 10th Falls.

One of the thirteen most active volcanoes in the country.
The rim of the crater is a forbidding knife-edge overhanging an apparently bottomless chasm.
Kanlaon, also spelled as Kanla-on or sometimes Canlaon, is an active stratovolcano on the island of Negros, Philippines. It is the highest point in Negros, as well as the whole Visayas, with an elevation of 2,465 m above sea level.

How to get there: 🤔❓❓❓
📍 From Bacolod, catch a jeepney to Ma-ao (P40, 1½ hours) and a tricycle to the resorts (P200 to P300, 30 to 40 minutes) or to La Carlota (P35, one hour); a jeepney from the latter to Guintubdan is P30.
📝 There are three main routes up the volcano itself.
📍 The Guintubdan trail is the easiest and most comon ascent, but even this should not be underestimated.
📍 The usual start point is Guintubdan, where there is basic accommodation at The Pavilion (P499 and under) and Rafael Salas Nature Camp (P499 and under).
📍 From here, although it’s only 8km to the top, the trail is best broken with an overnight stop.
📍 The 14km-long Mananawin trail works best over three days and offers the chance to really get to know the region, while the short, steep Wesey trail is very exposed and only for experienced tropical mountaineers.
