It is the perfect mix of big city meets small town. With an abundance of local restaurants, artisan shops, and art galleries, the charm is undeniable. Then add in the award-winning Falls Park with its breathtaking Reedy River Falls and gravity-defying Liberty Bridge, and there’s no question to why Greenville gets ranked as one of the best small cities in America by Condé Nast year after year! At Lake Jocasee, you can rent paddleboards and kayaks to explore waterfalls and white-sand beaches. If you’re savvy enough, you might find the secret tiered waterfall (you’ll need a boat to get there). Before heading back to urban life, make sure to take in the panoramas from Caesars Head, a large granite outcropping in Caesars Head State Park, where you'll also find a number of other gorgeous hikes.
