Top 10 Scenic Lookouts near Toronto Ontario | Travel Canada 4K
We know that this might be a little subjective, but this is our top 10 scenic lookouts near Toronto (we consider 4 hours drive a maximum to be considered near).
If you are considering to travel to Canada and visit Ontario or if you are already living here, this list is a must-do.
10. French River Provincial Park. Located 3 hours and a half from Toronto, this lookout offers an amazing view of the Historical French River from a suspension bridge.
9. Dundas Peak. This is the closest to Toronto from this list, located only 1 hour away. Make sure you stop by the charming town of Dundas and also visit Tews Falls.
8. Scenic Caves Suspension Bridge. This lookout offers a magnificent view of Blue Mountain and Georgia Bay.
7. Lookout Trail. Located in Algonquin Park, this is probably the most easily accessible lookouts of the park; it looks spectacular all year round.
6. Track and Tower Trail. Also located in Algonquin Park, this trail is more challenging and requires going uphill for a while, but the view of Cache Lake t the top will leave you speechless.
5. Fire Tower Trail. This one is located in one of the most underrated and beautiful parks in Ontario: Restoule Provincial Park. We have only visited it during the winter, but I can imagine that it must be incredible during the autumn.
4. Indian Head Cove. Located in the Bruce Peninsula, Known erroneously by many as Tobermory, here you will be able to admire many scenic lookouts all around you. Lions Head is a must, but you have to drive 40 minutes from The Grotto.
3. Clifftop Trail. This one is only accessible by boat during the summer, but the yearly wait is worth it to be able to appreciate the beauty of Mazinaw Lake from above. Located inside Bon Echo Provincial Park.
2. Booth's Rock Trail. Located in Algonquin Park, this is our favourite lookout inside this majestic park. It requires a 5.5km hike in total, but you will never forget the view at the top.
1. The Crack. Located inside Killarney Provincial Park, this is our favourite lookout in southern Ontario. The view of La Cloche Mountain Range in the distance and OSA lake are something else. This is not an easy hike and requires sturdy shoes.
The Muskoka region is one of the places to visit in Ontario; here you will also find countless beautiful scenic lookouts. Hiking in Ontario is amazing.
You can go camping in most of these destinations in Canada.
We offer adventures all year, with different seasonal destinations. You don't have to be an avid hiker to join our adventures... we take it easy so you can enjoy your surroundings as much as possible! That being said, we also offer more challenging adventures and longer hikes for those who are looking for a challenge.

6 Places to Eat in Sudbury
✨ 6 Places to Eat in Sudbury ✨ This is certainly no definitive list, but definitely 6 places you have to experience when you’re in the city. Sudbury’s culinary scene has something for everyone. We’re talking everything from fine dining to mom-and pop shops, fusion cuisine to cocktail bars that can rival any you’ll find in the big cities.
📍Respect Is Burning - Located in downtown Sudbury, Respect is Burning does not disappoint. Italian cuisine with arts and live music. Reservations recommended.
📍 Nourish - “worth the climb”, located on the second floor of 146 Durham St. Health-focused menu serving sandwiches, soups, and their famous Mega Fitshakes. I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Cup fitshake!
📍Tucos Taco Lounge - a laid-back, vegan-Mexican restaurant that gives their non-vegan counterparts some stiff competition. You can’t go wrong with the original nachos 🙌🏻
📍The Kouzzina - serving up Mediterranean dishes on the north side of the city with 2 fantastic patios for summer-time dining
📍Bella Vita Cucina - family owned and operated, dishing out your favourite Italian classics like pizza and pasta in an upscale but approachable atmosphere
📍Flurples - always leave room for dessert! Serving vegan-based ice cream treats from a cute little window on Kathleen Street. Look for the bright purple and white painted brick exterior, the perfect backdrop to capture your dessert!
