Goshen is a City in the county seat of Elkhart County, Indiana. Goshen was officially named in 1831, and at the same time it was declared a county seat for Elkhart County. It was named after Land of Goshen. The land of Goshen is named in the Bible. Goshen is home of Goshen College, a small mennonite liberal arts college. Historic downtown are some of the most notable visual features of Goshen. Elkhart County 4-H Fair has one of the largest county fairs in the state of Indiana.
