Naranarayan/Pancharatna Setu is the third bridge to have been constructed over the Brahmaputra River in Assam, India. It is a double-deck bridge with a railway track on the lower deck and a road on the upper deck. It has a length of 2.284 kilometers and connects Jogighopa, a town of Bongaigaon District on the north with Pancharatna, a town of Goalpara District on the south. The bridge was inaugurated on 15 April 1998 by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Prime Minister of India at that time. Construction was carried out by The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Company Limited(BBJ) consortium. The approximate cost of construction of this bridge is Rs. 301 crores. This bridge is located on the route of National Highway 17, erstwhile route NH-37

Hulukanda Hill, located at the heart of Goalpara on the bank of the Brahmaputra river, is one of the natural scenic views in the town, with various kinds of waterfowl and monkeys. There are some other bodies of water such as Hashila beel and Kumri beel. The evergreen forests on low hills create an undulating landscape.

@bakulartal Tukreswari Devalaya is a temple located on the Tukreswari Hills, about 24 km southeast of Goalpara town in Goalpara district, Assam, is an ancient Hindu temple and is dedicated to Sati as Shakti Peetha. Shakti Peethas are shrines or divine places of Sati, believed to have enshrined with the presence of Shakti due to the falling of body parts of the corpse of Sati. It is believed that an enraged Shiva performed the Tandava dance with Sati's charred body, which led her body came apart and the pieces fell at different places on earth. As per religious faith a portion of Goddess Sati's body part fell in this place and therefore this temple is known as Tukreswari.
According to an ancient legend, a piece of Sati's body (some say her tongue) fell on this mountain. Legend has it that the name of the shrine comes from the word 'Tukura' Another legend says that there was a shepherd named Tukura in this area. He always herded cattle around Tukreswari Hills. Every day a cow would secretly climb the mountain from the herd and pour milk from her udder at a designated place on a large rock in a courtyard. One day, the piece detects the cow. Tukura was shocked to see what had happened and finally told the king of Bijni about it.The king did not believe the piece. He returned disappointed. A few days later, the king received instructions in a dream to build a temple on the mountain. Accordingly, the king built a temple there and arranged for worship. The temple is named Tukreshwari after the name of the shepherd piece.
During Durga Puja and Basant Puja, pujas are held here with great pomp and a huge fair is held. It also has a tradition of sacrificing bulls during Durga Puja. The temple grounds are home to numerous monkeys. They have kings and queens among the monkeys. These monkeys are also given a share of the offerings of the temple. Remarkably, however, the other monkeys do not eat this offering unless the king and queen do. Nowadays, however, the number of monkeys is declining due to human aggression.

Sri Surya Pahar (Assamese: শ্ৰী সূৰ্য পাহাৰ) is located about 12 km southeast of Goalpara town and Bongaigon is the nearest city from here. about 132 km northwest of Guwahati, is a significant but relatively unknown archaeological site in Assam, India.[1] The site is a hilly terrain where several rock-cut Shivalingas, votive stupas and the deities of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain pantheon are scattered in an area of about one km. The site is centered on the hills (Pahar) of Sri Surya which is profusely filled up with Shiva Lingas (Lingam).[2] The popular belief is that 99999 Shiva Lingas were engraved here by Vyasa in order to build up a second Kashi (where there were 1,00000 Shiva Lingas) and once it was one of the holiest pilgrimagees
