Top 5 Reasons to Meet in Albany, NY
Within a three hour drive of many major cities, Albany, New York is home to recognizable hotel brands, various types of meeting and event facilities, and so much more. Here are the top 5 reasons why you should host your next meeting here!
Cohoes, NY: The Forgotten City Of The Capital Region
Cohoes, NY: The Forgotten City Of The Capital Region
This film discusses some of the history of Cohoes, NY, why we think it's forgotten & where it stands today. Cohoes is a small city which is part of Albany County in Upstate New York. When it comes to Capital Region tourism, we don't ever hear about Cohoes. Just look around...there's a lot of empty, abandoned & boarded up buildings all over town. This tells me that it is most definitely a dying city. In November 2017 there was a massive fire that destroyed an entire block on Remsen Street.
There is a flip side to this coin. You can see some efforts to revitalize the city. It isn't gentrifying though.
Added bonus:
Trip to Peebles Island State Park & Cohoes Falls.
