Hiking down to Knapsack Viaduct Glenbrook NSW Australia - Visit NSW

Walking down to Knapsack Viaduct Glenbrook NSW Australia , the walk down is steep, and the walk up is hard so take some water with you. I only walked some of the track but for those trying to increase there fitness, walking up and down this track will do it. I even saw people running up and down the track but they looked super fit. There is alot of hiking tracks in this area and some are more friendly to children and some are more difficult for the more fit walkers. Visit NSW

The great outdoors by motorbike around Blue Mountains National Park, Glenbrook,

Blue Mountains National Park is 1 of 8 national parks and reserves that make up the Greater Blue Mountains Area World Heritage Property. In 2000, UNESCO recognised the area's outstanding geology, biodiversity, and Aboriginal significance. The park lies within the Country of the Darug, Gundungurra, Wiradjuri, Darkinjung, Wanaruah and Dharawal People. With 1 million hectares of rugged plateaux, sheer cliffs and deep gorges, it protects unique ecosystems teeming with rare plants and animals. Over 95 species of eucalypt trees have evolved here over millions of years, making it the most diverse eucalypt forest in the world. Greater Blue Mountains driving route is a great way to see this ancient wilderness right on Sydney doorstep. Glenbrook is the eastern gateway to this ancient wilderness right on Sydney doorstep.

You don’t have to go far from the carpark to find a walk, riding trail, scenic lookout or picnic spot. Most of the roads are suitable for 2WD vehicles, so enjoy the drive as you make your way to Nepean lookout or the wheelchair-accessible Portal lookout. Glenbrook's well-maintained trails are favourites with mountain bikers and trail runners, who make a beeline for the Woodford-Oaks trail, Bennetts Ridge, and Murphys trail. If you prefer to relax, Euroka and Murphys Glen campgrounds provide low-key camping facilities without having to wander too far from Sydney.

The first stop of the road trip to the Blue Mountains from Sydney is Glenbrook. It is best known for the spectacular views, refreshing air and temperate climate lending it a very heavenly feel. This place retains historical buildings and homes most of which are occupied and not meant for public visit. It also offers recreational places with native flora and fauna.

A local cinema popularly known as “The Little Cinema with a Big Smile” was rebuilt from a set-up cinema in the 1920’s to a regularly visited theatre in 1978. It has now become one of the most advanced cinema in New South Wales but with an old world charm. It was also the first cinema to offer online reservations.
2. Wentworth Waterfalls: A riveting adventure

Scenic World at Katoomba in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains of Australia, offers a range of experiences found nowhere else on Earth.

Hey guys this is Davy from Openhouse Films and today we're going to explore the Blue Mountains, so it's a good idea to pack some food and water before you decide to get a train taking about two hours, or a car which is about an hour's drive from Sydney.
Both options will work but a car will give you more flexibility to see more places.

There are so many activities to do in the Blue Mountains, you're going to have to figure out which activities are best suited for you, but some of them are; the three sisters.. no not those three sisters, there you go. It's an unusual rock formation that attracts millions of people each year.

While you're here, be sure to check out Scenic World where you can have a range of family fun experiences surrounded by the beauty that is Katoomba.

If you're into the outdoors, there are some companies that offer abseiling at half-day or full-day tours. Check out the shops along here in Katoomba to try and get the best deals.

If two wheels are more your thing, there's always mountain biking here in Glenbrook, there's plenty of tracks and bike hire options available.

Bushwalking is also an option, have a look online and see if there's any tracks best suited for you. You might even come across a reward or two!

That was just a little taste of what the Blue Mountains has to offer

I hope you enjoyed the video, my name is Davy and this is Openhouse Films.
