📍 Ciğerci Ali Haydar ( - One of the best ways to start your day is with fresh grilled lamb liver. Choose your own skewer and they grill it up fresh, season with cumin, chili, onions, and parsley. didn’t charge us . After breakfast we then walked around the main market, the Coppersmith Bazaar.
📍 Beyoğlu Katmercim ( - For something sweet for breakfast, you have to try katmer, a Gaziantep pastry made with thin dough, lots of butter and cream, and a mountain of pistachios. Price - 500 TRY ($15.54) for everything
📍 Metanet lokantası ( - Easily one of the best foods I ate in Turkey is beyran, a traditional soup made with sheep fat, rice, sheep neck meat, and chili. They boil it up and it’s pure meaty goodness. Price - 200 TRY ($6.21) per bowl
📍 Dürümcü Recep Usta ( - When it comes to delicious Turkish fast food, it doesn’t get better than Nohut Dürümü, a super loaded chickpea wrap! It’s one of the most affordable meals you can eat in Turkey. Price - 55 TRY ($1.71)
📍 Kebapçı Halil Usta ( - Gaziantep is known for its meat, and for kebabs it doesn’t get more legendary than Kebapçı Halil Usta. Their most famous kebab is Küşleme - lamb backstrap loin. Price - 450 TRY ($13.98) per mixed portion (but they didn’t charge us)
📍 İmam Çağdaş Kebap ve Baklava Salonu ( - Another famous Turkish food in Gaziantep is Alinazik kebab - roasted eggplant, yogurt, lamb kebabs - and this restaurant is an institution. Price - 200 - 400 TRY (but they didn’t charge us)
📍 Yesmek Gaziantep Mutfagi ( - For homestyle Gaziantep dishes, Yesmek Gaziantep Mutfagi is a fantastic restaurant to try. They didn’t charge us.
📍 Şeker Han Cafe - Finally, something unique to try in Gaziantep is their pistachio coffee - which is not coffee at all - but made from pistachio paste. It’s amazing!

Gaziantep is the capital of the Gaziantep Province, in the westernmost part of Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia Region, approximatelybout 185 km (115 mi) east of Adana and 97 km (60 mi) north of Aleppo, Syria. It is thought to be located on the site of ancient Antiochia ad Taurum, and is near ancient Zeugma.
As of the 31/12/2019 last estimation, the Metropolitan Province was home to 2,069,364 inhabitants, of whom 1,721,475 lived in the built-up (or metro) area made of two (out of three) urban districts of Şahinbey and Şehitkamil, as Oğuzeli is not conurbated. It is the sixth-most populous city in Turkey.

📍 Udma Peynir Müzesi & Restoran ( - For a huge Turkish breakfast, where you can taste a massive variety of Gaziantep local dishes, Udma Peynir Müzesi & Restoran is the place. It’s a higher end restaurant, but great quality. Price - About 1,200 TRY ($37.28) for everything
📍 Güllüoğlu - Ömer Güllü Baklava ( - Gaziantep is known for making some of the best baklava in the world, and it was an honor to have a tour of this generations old baklava factory. The process is absolutely fascinating!
📍 Ali Usta Gurme ( - This kebab shop is famous for their lamb kebabs, and for their eggplant kebabs. They didn’t charge us.
📍 Paçacı Şahin Usta ( - Along with serving beyran, one of the best dishes in all of Turkey, this soup restaurant specializes in all sorts of lamb soups and stews.
📍 Efe kasap kebap ( - Although they mainly serve kebabs, we came here specifically to eat lahmacun, flatbread topped with meat and chopped peppers, tomatoes, and onions.

$1.20 Lunch in Gaziantep Turkey 🇹🇷
In this video, will be going on a quick tour around the city and beginning with the old town tour afterwards I will head over to a juice bar to have freshly squeezed juice followed by a $1.20 Lunch in Gaziantep Turkey. My plan was to visit the mosques but since it was Friday and it was still the afternoon I decided to head over and check out Gaziantep bazaar to waste some time as the mosques and prayers were still in progress. Once it was later on that day I stumbled into a mosque in the city centre and afterwards, I went to an open market walking around I decided to have baklava and it was the best baklava I've had in Turkey. Afterwards, I walked a bit more making my way to another mosque and putting an end to the tour right there and then.

Underground Cafe in Gaziantep Turkey (Hidden Gem) 🇹🇷
This video will start off at a local restaurant in the beautiful city of Gaziantep, after travelling for 11 hours overnight bus journey, extremely exhausted but felt I had to push in this day. After lunch, I walk around and stumbled into a juice bar, and gave it a try. Went off exploring the castle, then the Hamam museum, and afterwards I wanted to explore some local neighbourhoods not far from the city centre but certainly off the beaten path, next I got into a beautiful underground cafe that caught my attention and followed by exploring the rest of the city centre.
