ಮಾಗೋಡು ಜಲಪಾತವು ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ (ಉತ್ತರ ಕೆನರಾ) ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ, ಯಲ್ಲಾಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೇಡ್ತಿ ನದಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಜಲಪಾತವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೇಡ್ತಿ ನದಿಯು ಸುಮಾರು 200 ಮೀಟರ್ (660 ಅಡಿ) ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮಾಗೋಡು ಜಲಪಾತ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಈ ಜಲಪಾತವನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ವ್ಯೂ ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ಗಳಿಂದ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬಹುದು, ಬಹು ವ್ಯೂ ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕೋನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ಜಲಪಾತವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಧುಮ್ಮಿಕ್ಕುವ ನೀರಿನ ಘರ್ಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ನೋಟವು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ರಜಾದಿನದ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿಗಳು ಎದುರಾದವು.

ಬೇಡ್ತಿ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ಗಂಗವಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ಧಾರವಾಡದ (ಸೋಮೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಹತ್ತಿರ) ಶಾಲ್ಮಲವಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದು ಅರಬ್ಬಿ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ನದಿಯು ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ನದಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ನಿತ್ಯಹರಿದ್ವರ್ಣ ಕಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

Magod Falls
Magod Falls is a popular waterfall in Uttar Kannada (North Canara) district, in Yellapur taluk, on river Bedti.
The river Bedti falls from a height of nearly 200 metres (660 ft) in two steps that we know as Magod Falls.
This waterfall can be viewed from different view points, multiple view point will help visitors to see magnificent waterfall in different angles. The roar of gushing water and a beautiful view makes top holiday destination. On the way came across a beautiful birds and wildlife.
It also offers great photographic opportunities. If you love waterfalls, you should definitely visit this gorgeous waterfall.

Bedthi River (Gangavalli River)
Bedthi River also called Gangavalli River. The originates from the Western Ghats the south of Dharwad (Near Someshwara temple) as Shalmala and flows in the west direction to meet the Arabian sea.
The river flows through Dharwad and Uttar Kannada districts. The river has dense evergreen and semi-evergreen forests along its path.

Day two on the #thewestcoastexpressride is on the coast line of Karnataka.
And a small temple town that beckons you its south; here a succession of remote low key beaches are only accessible by boat or foot. Historically, Gokarna was known as one of the seven important Hindu pilgrimage centers and sits at the estuary of the river Aghanashini. Though the main beach is crowded , its these beaches to the south of the town, that offer a perfect place to unwind in the lap of nature, a short hike or lay back and immerse yourself in shade by the beach. An Adventure trip, unplanned exploring Costal Beaches of Konkan | Ladghar beach | Part 1
We have been blessed with the beauty of konkan, tall coconut trees and unfathomable sea shore, Kokan is a rugged section of the western coastline of India. It is a 720 kilometres (450 miles) long coastline. Konkan extends throughout the western coasts of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka. It is bounded by the Western Ghats mountain range (also known as Sahyadri) in the east, the Arabian Sea in the west, the Mayura River in the north and the Gangavalli River in the south.
257kms from Mumnbai is where you’ll find a quaint paradise called Ladghar Beach. This profusely stretched coastline has varied landscape that comprises cliffs, rocks, and golden sand. Ladghar in Dapoli district, is the place for privacy as well as adventure. There are quiet spots for couples, ample space to pitch your tent and stargaze by the campfire, and a number of watersports to pump up your adrenaline.
Ladghar is a complete getaway in every sense but the key reason for its immense popularity is that is sits right between Mumbai and Pune. Proximity to two metros makes it a popular beach getaway near Mumbai and is quite crowded during weekends. If you are planning a trip here, it is suggested that you make reservations beforehand and save any last minute hassles.
The best time to visit Ladghar Beach is between the Winter season, i.e. between the months of October and February.
Winter (October to February):
This is the best time for visit Ladghar since the weather stays pleasant. This allows the visitors to indulge in various activities like swimming, Paragliding and banana boat rides on the beach.
Monsoon (July to September):
Since Maharashtra’s coastal regions experience heavy rainfall in the monsoon season, visiting Ladghar for beach activities might not be a good idea. You cannot indulge in swimming and other activities due to high tide. However, the landscape becomes more beautiful and green during this time, and gentle cool breeze make it a retreat altogether.
Summer (March to June):
Summers are harsh in and around Ladghar Beach. Hence, it is not a suggested time to visit this place. However, the nights are pleasant and you can go for a stroll on the beach for sunset. Also, since this is not a tourist season, you can expect a great downfall in the tariff of hotels near Ladghar Beach. This factor makes it a wonderful weekend escape from Mumbai for those looking for an exotic beach staycation.

How to reach Ladghar Beach, Dapoli
Even though Ladghar is a lesser-known destination, it is easily accessible. If you’re coming from Mumbai or Pune, the best way to reach is through roadways. However, for better understanding about how to reach Ladghar Beach, here are the details:

Time Taken: 6 hours 30 minutes
Distance from Pune to Ladghar Beach: 212 km
Time Taken: 5 hours
By road:
The road to Ladghar Beach is scenic. There’s coastal route and hill routes that await you on your road trip. A good road for off-roading lovers.
