Haihua Island, Hainan, China is an artificial island and the world’s largest artificial tourist island. It is located in the bay area between Paipu Port and Yangpu Port, Danzhou City, Hainan Province, starting from Paipu Town in the south and Baimajing Town in the north. , About 600 meters from the coast, with a total span of about 6.8 kilometers.
The island is composed of three independent offshore islands with a reclaimed area of about 7.8 square kilometers. The flower-shaped island in the middle is in the shape of Hainan’s provincial flower bougainvillea. The islands 2 and 3 on both sides are in the shape of waves. Named China Hainan Sea Flower Island.

Guangdong Fort
Guangdong Fort is located in Dongshan Village, Yidu Town, Fuqing City. It was originally functioned as both residence and military defense. Built in 1736 by He's family, it sits against a slope in middle part of mountain. It is rectangle, 4180 square meters of floor area, 55 meters in width and 76 meters in length. Its walls stand 10 meters in height and 2 meters in thickness, lower part of which were built with stone. On the stone walls stand clay walls in which windows and shooting holes were designed. The holes were small inside and big outside, making easy watching and shooting . Connected corridors were built on top of the clay wall to give defenders easy moving. In front of the Fort, L-shape stone steps lead to its wood-slab gate. On the gate, holes were made to pour water for extinguishing fire that burnt the gate. The Fort contains three blocks of 2-floor house with a back yard and comprises 99 rooms where He's family and kins lived. Weathering almost 300 years, the Fort stood well and defended the attacks of bandits.

Shizhu Mountain in Fuqing City
Shizhu Mountain in Fuqing City is one of top ten tourist attractions in Fujian Province. Shizhu boasts 128 scenic spots and mild temperature; therefore it is a nice summer resort. Shizhu Temple, perching on the mountain, is a Taoist place where you may command a nice view of Dongzhang Reservoir and surrounding greenery. The temple receives crowds of pilgrim.

You've probably heard of Chinatowns around the world. But did you know that there is a Little America in China?
Grace was born and raised in the US but her family is from a village outside of Fuzhou, Fujian, China. Prior to this trip, she visited Fuzhou only once in her life, at age seven. It's her first time returning to her ancestral hometown with her partner in crime, Yongjian, on a heritage-seeking trip to visit each other's hometowns and learn about each other's families and local cultures. Join us as we take you on an adventure through the ancestral village of Grace's family.

The terrain of Fujian Province is mainly mountainous, and land transportation in Fujian used to be relatively lagging behind. However, its unique geographical location has made Fujian Province an important hub on the Maritime Silk Road, pushing people from the coastal areas of Fujian Province to take merchant ships to go abroad and travel to all parts of the world. At first, they mainly traveled to neighboring countries such as the Philippines and Japan, and then gradually to some Western countries.
Fujian people are hard-working and have always been good at doing business. They quickly established themselves abroad. After making money, some people choose to stay abroad, while others choose to return to China for development. After returning to their hometown, building a house became their first priority. Due to some architectural knowledge and design concepts learned in the West, the appearance of many buildings here shows a strong Western style. Each building has its own unique characteristics. End point: Shangxue Village (Xue Village, Longtian Town, Fuqing City, Fujian Province) is located in the middle of Fuqing Bay, at the foothills of Wenfeng Mountain at the northern end of Longgao Peninsula. The village is composed of four natural villages: Lingtou, Nanguan, Kennan and Diantou. Main The village faces south, 15 kilometers from Rongcheng in the north and 2 kilometers from Longtian Town in the south. It is one of the most influential villages in Fuqing. The total land and sea area of the village is about 20 square kilometers, including 2,390 acres of cultivated land (1,323 acres of hillside garden land). acres (including 1,067 acres of lowland farmland), about 1,200 acres of forest land, and 3,053 acres of beach area. In order to commemorate their ancestors, the villagers of Shangxue built an ancestral hall during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty (1436-1449). Every year on the tenth day of the first lunar month, they hold a pilgrimage ceremony to pay homage to their ancestors and bless future generations with long-lasting blessings. )
