Conakry is the capital of Guinee, a country in West Africa. The city sits on the slender Kaloum Peninsula, which extends into the Atlantic Ocean. Just offshore, the Loos Islands are known for their beaches, dense palm forests and water sports. In town, the enormous Grand Mosque has 4 tall, elegant minarets. Next to the mosque, the large Botanical Garden features kapok trees and tropical flowers.

The Fouta Djallon is famous for it's craggy mountains, friendly villages and most of all its massive waterfalls. I start my trek by making my way down to a village and then onward to the first of 2 waterfalls I'll see over my 3 day trek.

Guéckédou (ou Guéckédougou ou Gueckedou ou Guékédou) est une ville de Guinee située au sud du pays, au carrefour des frontières libérienne et sierraléonaise. C'est le chef-lieu de la préfecture homonyme dans la région de Nzérékoré.
Une mission catholique y a été créée en 1951.
HISTOIRE
Au début du xxie siècle, Guéckédou et ses environs sont le théâtre de combats lorsque des rebelles venus du Liberia y affrontent l'armée guinéenne. Après une première incursion subie par la sous-préfecture de Tékoulo le 27 novembre 2000, la ville de Guéckédou est attaquée à son tour le 6 décembre 2000. Les hommes du Mouvement de libération uni pour la démocratie au Libéria (ULIMO) occupent la partie de la ville la plus proche de la frontière, celle qui abrite les principaux bâtiments administratifs (préfecture, mairie), ainsi que la gendarmerie et l'hôpital central. Cette occupation entraîne un mouvement de populations vers des localités du nord et le retrait des ONG qui assistaient quelque 200 000 réfugiés vivant dans la préfecture. La ville est reprise par l'armée guinéenne au début du mois de février 2001.

1. ITTOQQORTOORMIIT
No, it’s not a typo, this place really exists. Situated on a remote part of Greenland’s coastline, this tiny village has very colorful houses and a population of just 350 people. Travel by boat is only possible in summer when temperatures only just rise above freezing whilst in winter when temperatures drop below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, helicopters are the only way out!
2. Cape York, Australia
It seems odd that Australia should have isolated areas but actually, most of the country is a barren wilderness. Cape York is mostly untouched rain forests and savannas and has a tropical and monsoonal climate so an offroad is essential for transport but can only be used in the dry season.
3. La Rinconada, Peru.
Located on the top of a mountain at around 17,000ft above sea level, La Rinconada is always cold, with summer temperatures barely getting above freezing. The gold mine attracted people to the area and with a population of 30,000, it is the highest permanent settlement in the world.
4. Longyearbyen, Norway
Also known as Longyear town it gets its name from John Munro Longyear who started coal mining operations here in 1906. In summer off-road cars can be used but in winter, snowmobiles are needed, so much so that Longyearbyen actually has more snowmobiles the residents.
5. Kerguelen islands
These remote islands are located in the Antarctic and are subject to high winds and rough seas all year round, it’s no surprise then that they are also known as the desolation islands too. It has no airports and the only way to leave is via boat with the nearest permanently populated location being Madagascar, 2,100 MILES AWAY!
6. Pitcairn Island
Situated in the south pacific sea almost equidistant between Peru and New Zealand this volcanic island is home for around 50 people. The only way to get there is by ship and then by longboat because it only has one shallow harbor and the remaining shoreline is jagged rocks.
7. Bouvet Island
Hailed the most remote island in the world, it is at least 1000 miles away from any other island. The only place to land on the island was created by a rock slide in the 1950's and is now home to a weather station. Considering that 93%of the island is covered by glacier it’s no wonder it’s uninhabited.
8. Oymyakon, Russia
Oymyakon is one of the world’s coldest permanently inhabited settlements. The lowest temperature recorded there was -89.9 degrees Fahrenheit whilst the highest was 94 degrees Fahrenheit making it one of the five places on earth to have a 180-degree temperature range.
9. Devon Island
With an area of 21,331 square miles, it’s the largest uninhabited island on the earth and is home to the Haughton impact crater which measures 14 miles in diameter and was created by a meteorite about a mile in diameter. Its Mars-like surface has attracted scientists as well as NASA’s Haughton-Mars project.
10. Tritan Da Cunha
The most remote inhabited archipelago in the world, Tristan is only accessible by boat, which from Cape Town South Africa, takes 6 days. So if you’re thinking of spending a couple of weeks visiting don’t forget to allow for 12 days' travel time!

L'altipiano del Fouta Djalon, la cui vetta più alta raggiunge i 1500 metri di altitudine, è uno degli ambienti naturali più belli e con paesaggi mozzafiato dell'Africa Occidentale. Dalle sue vette, seppur non troppo alte, nascono i fiumi più importanti di questa parte dell'Africa, fonti di vita per numerosi paesi, il fiume Senegal, il Gambia e il Niger. L'ecosistema strordinario, le temperature non troppo elevate e il fatto che sia rimasta una delle ultime roccaforti degli scimpanzè, ne fanno una tappa meravigliosa per trekking ed escursioni naturalistiche di svariati giorni.

Едно почти забравено видео…
През лятото на 2022 посетихме остров Левкада за няколко дни и естествено
снимахме видео. Минаха 2 години от тогава и все не му идваше реда.
Не знам дали защото нелепо потопихме дрона в морето или по време на
пътуването се разболяхме от Ковид, но все намирахме защо да го отложим.
До днес.
Да, информацията с цените със сигурност не е актуална, но
красивите плажове на острова са си там и все пак си изкарахме добре.
Знам, че Левкада е любима дестинация на доста хора, защото е сравнително голям остров,
а и не е нужен ферибот за да стигнеш до него.
Много ме е яд за дрона, защото загубихме ценни за мен кадри, а и замърсихме
морето, което още ми тежи, но водите бяха дълбоки, а той бързо потъна.
Сега като гледам видеото и ми се иска отново да посетя острова защото
останаха много места, които не успях да видя.
Надявам се това закъсняло видео ще ви донесе слънчеви моменти и усмивки.

大家好 歡迎收看 《行影步離》
上期咱們聊了世界上語言最多的國家巴布亞新幾內亞，有網友留言說非洲那個赤道幾內亞能不能也聊一聊，那今天咱們就聊一聊這座中非西部極具暴發戶氣質的臨海國家-赤道幾內亞。其實從自然環境，地理氣候來說這裡都是不錯的度假勝地，但很多朋友卻不建議去那裡旅遊，這到底是為什麼呢？
赤道幾內亞簡稱赤幾，雖然名字帶赤道，但實際上赤道也沒有穿過他家的國土。赤幾絕大部分領土在非洲大陸，陸地國界線是標準的長方形，但其首都馬拉博卻坐落在距離喀麥隆海岸32公里遠，幾內亞灣的比奧科島上，舉個不恰當但好理解的例子，就相當於朝鮮在濟州島上建個首都的樣子。
馬拉博市區人口不到15萬，市中心有不少殖民時代風格的建築，最典型的就是聖塔伊莎貝拉教堂。馬拉博另一個標誌就是海拔3012米的巴希萊火山。
由於火山的存在，比奧科島上也就自然的擁有了一片絕美的黑沙灘，搭配著濃密的原始森林，這一景像在全世界都是絕無僅有的，看到這你是不是特嚮往來赤幾轉一轉呢？
赤幾在最近20年間差不多是以世界第一的經濟增長速度在發展，走出馬拉博的聖塔伊莎貝拉機場，就能充分的感受到40%多的年增長率到底是多麼有魅力，雙向六車道的高速直通市區，路兩旁一片片多層住宅樓，樣式風格與國內城市非常相似。
這些住宅樓很多都是由中國公司承建的，經濟增長最快的時期，在赤幾的中國人甚至超過1萬人，同時歐美的白人也很多，但當地人對中國人卻並不友好。
500年前葡萄牙人佔領了非洲，西班牙人佔領了南美洲，奴隸貿易興起後，完全被葡萄牙人壟斷。
西班牙也想要在非洲得到一處供應奴隸的地方，於是拿南美的一塊地從葡萄牙手裡換來了赤幾。如今赤幾大陸沿岸的第二首都巴塔，就是曾經西班牙最大的奴隸貿易基地。
後來隨著奴隸貿易的終止，赤幾又回到了接近原始的農耕時代，1968年赤道幾內亞擺脫西班牙海外省的身份，正式獨立以一座嶄新的共和國的姿態重新立足於非洲大陸。
這座曾經世界上最貧窮的國家，自1996年在沿海發現大規模油田以後，一發不可收變成了非洲最牛的暴發戶。
突然間的暴富一夜之間養肥了其獨裁的總統家族以及各級官員，在赤幾幾乎每一個政府官員都會明目張膽的吃拿卡要，尤其是警察，白天路上隨意攔車，索要罰款甚至飲料和水，特別還針對中國人的車。
西班牙人走了，把他們的先進帶走了，卻把懶惰和無賴根深蒂固的留在了赤道幾內亞，現在在赤幾說法語的人卻比西班牙語的人要多很多。
近幾年隨著國際油價的下跌，赤幾的經濟受到嚴重打擊，曾經突然的爆發不可避免的建設出很多光鮮的面子工程，甚至豪華的別墅區此起彼伏，但現在好多工程則面臨著停滯和爛尾。
在赤幾各級政府甚至海關警察大兵等幾乎都是收錢才辦事，總統夫人名下的產業更是遍布赤幾的各行各業，自上而下的群體腐敗已然使這座非洲之門，步入了前所未有的絕境。
所以說，去赤幾旅遊，實在不建議，嚴重的貧富差距使得搶劫案件時有發生，這個非洲人均最富有的國家，你真的想去嗎？
