- The Winter Solstice boats festival became a tradition in 2016. During Narration its stated as, 100 years of History. This was misrepresented from the 100-year flood plan that required changes to Carroll Creek.
- The Current Downtown which features a revitalized Carroll Creek has remodeled after the flood of 1976, with much of the modern changes taking place in 2015.
