Did you expect this in New Zealand? When you come to New Zealand, you'll be shocked to see gangs. Gangs in New Zealand are so unafraid of the Police that they ride obnoxiously loud motorcycles so you can hear them a mile away.
They even wear a uniform which includes a gang patch, so you know which gang they're from.
This is how open and obvious organised crime is in New Zealand. And for visitors like my wife, it's shocking.
If you stay away from them, they won't bug ya. But the reality is gangs are known for the drug trade, murder, theft, violence against women, and the list goes on.
There are numerous gangs in New Zealand, of varying criminality, organisation and ethnicity, including outlaw motorcycle gangs, street gangs and ethnically based gangs. A chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club was formed in Auckland in 1961, the first Hells Angels chapter outside the US.
Soon after, the Mongrel Mob formed in Hastings and Wellington, developing into a predominantly Māori and Pacific Islander gang and having the largest membership in the country.
Through the 1960s and 1970s, other outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnically based gangs formed, including another predominantly Māori gang, Black Power (not related to the African-American movement), which grew to rival the Mongrel Mob. from Wikipedia.

Indiana may be best known for its obsession with sports (and limestone) but what may not be in the public domain is that the Midwestern state has one of the lowest cost of living in the United States.

Hiking to the Bottom of Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall in Hamilton, Ontario #shorts
At 121 ft tall, Devil’s Punchbowl is the 3rd highest waterfall in Hamilton, Ontario.
There is no official trail to the bottom of the waterfall, but it is possible to get there from the Bruce Trail.
Parking: There are a few different places you can park to take a side trail (blue trail markers) to the Bruce Trail (white trail markers). Parking is very limited.
1. Park at the Devil’s Punchbowl Parking Lot off Ridge Rd ($5) and hike the Devil’s Punchbowl Side Trail west along Ridge Road and down to the Bruce Trail (1.2km to the Bruce, then approx 50m to the creek). From here you can also take a short paved path to a viewing platform where you can see the city and the waterfall from above.
2. Park along the street on Leslie Dr at New Mountain Rd and take the New Mountain Rd Side Trail (60m to the Bruce, then 1km to the creek)
3. Park at Glover Falls and take the Glover Mountain Road Side Trail (220m to the Bruce, then 1.3km to the creek)
Once you are on the Bruce Trail at the creek, you will be able to see the Lower Falls. Keep the creek on your left and make your way upstream to the punchbowl (see video).
Safety - although possible, this hike is not easy. Beware of rocks falling from the gorge walls.
The best time to visit is in the Spring or after a rainfall. These falls can dry up during the summer. This area is very busy - to avoid crowds, come on a weekday, early morning or off season.

Hamilton and the Battle of Yorktown | 10K Road Trip Vlog Day 32
We've been listening to Hamilton non-stop for this entire road trip, so we were beyond excited to get to Yorktown and see the battlefield in real life.
We highly recommend everything we did in this video. If you like Hamilton and/or like history, Yorktown is a great place to visit.
This video was actually shot over two days. We spent the first day at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. This museum has a special exhibit that focuses on the major characters from the Hamilton musical, including their back-stories and roles in the war. It was really interesting. The museum also does a great job explaining how the tensions between the Americans and British built up over time, and how and where the major conflicts and battles took place. If you want to understand how the Revolutionary War played out, this is a great place to visit. We spent about 3.5 hours there, which includes the living history area with the Continental Army outside plus all the exhibits and interactive displays inside.
On the next day, we visited the Battlefield at Yorktown, which also has a visitor center where you can explore a British warship and see an original tent used by George Washington, as well as other artifacts used during the Siege at Yorktown. The battlefield is massive, but you can follow the driving tour and read the signs to get a good understanding of what happened when and where.

We bought a combined ticket to the museum, which also includes a visit to the historic Jamestown settlement (which we'll post the video about tomorrow).
The battlefield is a National Park and so the entrance fee (of $7) is included in the NPS Annual Pass that we have.
