TOP 10 PLACES TO VISIT ON THE OREGON COAST - 4K TRAVEL GUIDE
I grew up on The Oregon Coast north of Cannon Beach and south of Astoria in one of the best beach towsn of Seaside, Oregon, and its easily one of my favorite places in the whole world and is home to some of the most dramatic and beautiful coasts on earth from the giant sand dunes to the offshore rock stacks - it has it all. Since I grew up in Seaside and Cannon Beach (northern), I figured I would make this travel guide for exploring the Oregon Coast is very special to me. The Oregon Coast is part of the 7 wonders of Oregon, and even though I am biased, I think it's the best one ;) I've driven every mile of HWY 101 from California to Washington and I wish that I had explored more of every beach, rock stack hike along the Whole coastline, but I will travel Oregon for the rest of my life. Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.

- Rent a bike and ride through the hills above Florence. Best route (in my opinion) Head across the Ponte all Grazie (Bridge), and bike up the hills above Piazzale Michaelangelo.

- Rooftop bar of the Westin Excelsior
- Watch the Sunset on the St Trinity Bridge
Tuscany:
(I rented a car…I think it cost me around 50 Euros for the day)
- Day Trip/Wine Tour of Tuscany (There are many options for tours…I loved the small group half/day tour with Prestige rent…I found it on Trip Advisor (linked here):
- Siena (if you only visit one town in Tuscany…make it Siena. Also take the bus, not the train)
- San Gimignano (Can be seen on the same day as Siena as they’re close by)
- Pisa
- Lucca (aerial shot of Lucca is from videoblocks.com)

Firenze or Florence, is more than a city – it’s a feeling. Walking through the stunning streets of Firenze is like stepping back into an era when the great Italian artists ruled the city. You’re surrounded by Renaissance architecture, the romantic Arno River, and a palpable, omnipresent energy that emanates from the city. There are so many amazing things to do in Florence, it would take a lifetime to see it all!
This wasn’t our first time seeing the city of Florence. And no, that’s not a humble brag. It’s to say that this is a city to return to over and over again and still never see it all. You have to revel in the Renaissance history, bow down to Boticelli’s Venus, enjoy the flavors of the famed Florentine steak, and delight in the beauty of the Duomo.
Florence is one of the most amazing cities in Italy and also the world! The food, art, and history make it one of the best places to visit in Italy. During this video of Florence we show you some of our favorite places for Pizza, Pasta, Gelato, & Lasagna. When in Florence, the diet goes out the window. Be ready for red wine, Florentine steak, and truffle pasta. Some of our favorite restaurants are:

Florence is a small city at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, on the Oregon coast. Its vast Sea Lion Caves are home to Steller sea lions. Nearby, trails around the restored 19th-century Heceta Head Lighthouse offer views of seabirds and migrating whales. Shops and galleries fill the city’s Historic Old Town district. Across the river are the towering sand mounds of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
