Fei County/Feixian, Linyi, Shandong, China
Fei County is part of Linyi City, Shandong Province, located in the south of Shandong Province, with a total area of 1660 square kilometers, 12 towns (streets), 1 provincial economic development zone, 402 administrative villages. It is a satellite city, a back garden, a water source, an energy base, and an important place for science and education in Linyi, and is also part of the Linyi Urban Planning Area. Fei County has a long history, as it was called Feiyi in ancient times, Feiyi in the Spring and Autumn Period, Feiyi in the Warring States, Fei County in the Western Han Dynasty, and the hometown of Yan Zhenqing, the outstanding calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. According to the seventh census data, as of November 1, 2020, Fei County has a resident population of 798,403.
Fei County is strategically located, with Lanshan to the east, Pingyi to the west, Lanling to the south, Meng Mountain to the north, and Mengyin and Yinan to the southeast, and the industrial towns of Fei Cheng and Tangyi to the east.
Fei County has a beautiful environment, looking north to the Meng Mountain; south to the hills, where the Xujiaya Reservoir is located, and the Wenliang River is injected into the Altar River, which runs parallel to the Blossom River originating in Fei County through Linyi and finally joins the Yi River. Fei County is rich in energy and has energy bases such as Guodian Fei County Power Plant, Yimeng Pumped Storage Power Station and Linyi Western Thermal Center, which are the energy core of Linyi's development and operation.
Fei County has developed science and education, and two institutions of higher learning, Linyi University and Qingdao University of Technology (Linyi), have been built in Fei Cheng, which is an important place for science and education in Linyi. Fei County is the hometown of longevity in the world, the capital of exotic stones in China, the national garden city, the national health city, the national advanced county in science and technology progress, the best investment city in Shandong Province, the best ecological tourism city in Shandong Province, and the provincial civilized city.

China Railway World Expo City Conference Center is the landmark building of the whole expo city, the building is shaped as an irregular silk streamline, which conforms to the elegant shape of a silk belt and is supplemented by a large-span steel structure. Westin Hotel is a part of this project, which undertakes the functions of reception and residence. Designers introduced the concept of a city living room into the interior and also incorporated the characteristics of the Qingdao ocean into it. It reflects a streamlined shape, like an ocean wave.

This dish uses rice noodles and roast goose as the main ingredients and is one of the famous breakfasts in Guangdong. The method of making roast goose rice noodles includes cooking the rice noodles, spreading roast goose pieces, adding appropriate seasonings such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, etc., as well as blanched lettuce and chopped green onions, and finally pouring roast goose sauce or roast duck sauce to make it more flavorful.
In Dongguan, roast goose rice noodles have a long history and cultural significance, especially Houjie rice noodles, which is one of the traditional snacks of the Han nationality in Dongguan, implying longevity, good fortune and longevity. The production process of Houjie rice noodles goes through the processes of pounding rice, beating flour paste, boiling rice noodles, and passing through the cold river. The area of today's Nancheng belonged to the 10th District of Ende Township, Dongguan County during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, to Quekousi in the 19th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1754), and to the First District of Dongguan County in the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934). From March to December 1957, the district-level administrative agencies were abolished to establish the Daxiang system, and Huangcun Daxiang was established, marking the beginning of Nancheng as an administrative division. In September 1958, Huangcun Daxiang was abolished, and its land was under the jurisdiction of Fucheng People's Commune. Fucheng Commune separated Huangcun Commune in June 1961, merged Huangcun Commune in March 1963, and separated Huangcun Commune again in March 1966. In October 1983, the people's commune system was abolished, and Huangcun Commune was changed to Huangcun District Office. Huangcun District Office and Guancheng Town Government were merged into one office in March 1985, and merged into Guancheng District Street in February 1986. In October 1987, Guancheng District Street was split into Chengnei District Street, Chengwai District Street, and Huangcun District Street, of which Huangcun District Street governed the original Huangcun District Office area. In October 2001, Huangcun District Street was renamed Nancheng Street.

I probably never would have seen the Bird's Nest or Water Cube at night if it hadn't been for some members of my tour group who wanted to go. I must say, the Olympic Centre is much nicer at night than in the daytime, but you'll see both versions. Also, this place is pretty recent, so it's good to see everything in its prime, while it still lasts.
