From Wikipedia:
Radburn is an unincorporated community located within Fair Lawn in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.
Radburn was founded in 1929 as a town for the motor age. Its planners, Clarence Stein and Henry Wright, and its landscape architect Marjorie Sewell Cautley aimed to incorporate modern planning principles, which were then being introduced into England's Garden Cities, following ideas advocated by urban planners Ebenezer Howard, Sir Patrick Geddes and Clarence Perry. Perry's neighborhood unit concept was well-formulated by the time Radburn was planned, being informed by Forest Hills Gardens, Queens, New York (1909–1914), a garden-city development of the Russell Sage Foundation.
Radburn was explicitly designed to separate traffic by mode, with a pedestrian path system that does not cross any major roads at grade. Radburn introduced the largely residential superblock and is credited with incorporating some of the earliest culs-de-sac in the United States. It was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 2005, in recognition of its history in the development of the garden city movement in the 20th century.
The 'Radburn design' has been formalized in the Radburn design for public housing; the design has been used in the US, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The design was an influence on Walt Disney's design for Disney World.

The Street fair fans loved and enjoyed the day loaded with fun activities. The Fair Lawn Street Fair was not just a local event; it was a celebration of local community's resilience and unity.
Credit for the following Report:
FAIR LAWN, NJ - While weekend rain has curtailed so many activities over the past two months, the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce was lucky enough to get a dry Sunday on October 15 for its annual River Road Street Fair.
Our trusty event reporter, Melanie Rodriguez, was on hand to see the fun goodies the vendors had to offer.
Here is more of her report:
River Road in Fair Lawn was bustling late Sunday morning and into the afternoon with fairgoers. It was partly cloudy with the sun peeking through every so often shining its lights and warmth down on the patrons of Fair Lawn. The streets were filled with live music and the DJ kept everyone pumped up with fun tunes. The street fair hosted a plethora of vendors ranging from wand and candle makers, unique jewelry, drinkware, to greek gyros.
Plenty of families were roaming River Road going from booth to booth engaging with all the different vendors. There were lots of activities for all members of the family to enjoy. Children drew chalk designs on the street and made terrariums. One booth included plaster pieces you could purchase and then paint.

Top 3. Best Tourist Attractions in Paterson - New Jersey
Top 3. Best Tourist Attractions in Paterson - New Jersey: Great Falls National Historical Park, Lambert Castle, Paterson Museum
Top 10 Best Hotels to Visit in Paterson, New Jersey | USA - English
#PatersonHotels #HotelsInPaterson #PatersonVisitHotels #Paterson
Paterson, city, seat (1837) of Passaic county, northeastern New Jersey, U.S., situated on the Passaic River, 11 miles (18 km) northwest of New York City. It was founded after the American Revolution by advocates of American industrial independence from Europe (including the statesman Alexander Hamilton) who saw the Great Falls of the Passaic, which drop 70 feet (21 metres), as the best potential industrial site on the Atlantic Seaboard. Paterson was one of the first planned industrial cities in the United States. The enterprise was chartered by the New Jersey legislature in 1791 as the Society for Establishing Useful Manufactures (SUM); the city was named for Governor William Paterson, one of the framers of the U.S. Constitution.
A successful enterprise, SUM ultimately sold waterpower and building space to private manufacturers. The earliest industries were cotton mills (1794), and in 1828 Paterson mechanics joined mill workers in the first recorded sympathy strike in the United States. Samuel Colt produced his first revolvers at the Old Gun Mill (preserved) in 1836. By 1837, when the locomotive industry was established, machine manufacturing had become important. Paterson was producing four-fifths of all locomotives made in the United States by the early 1880s. The silk industry was introduced in 1838, which led to it being named “silk city”; linen thread manufacture began in 1864. By the 1880s Paterson was home to more than one-third of all silk factories in the United States. The city was the scene of many labour disputes, but by the mid-20th century it had become a centre of widely diversified industrial activity. Modern manufactures include textiles, machinery, machine tools, plastics, leather goods, cosmetics, packaging, and chemicals.
