شاید در کلان‌شهرهایی مثل تهران تنها در محله‌های قدیمی بتوان این بازارها را دید، اما در شهرهای #شمال_ایران علی الخصوص #گیلان تا چشم کار می‌کند بازار روز وجود دارد.
این بازارها نام‌های دیگری هم دارند و با توجه به روزهایی که دایر می‌شوند نام‌گذاری خواهند شد، مثل شنبه بازار، یکشنبه بازار تا جمعه بازار. در ادامه به بازار روز یک شهر دیدنی به نام گیلان می‌پردازیم.
بازار روز گیلان که در واقع همان بازار محلی گیلان هم شناخته می‌شود یکی از جاهای دیدنی برای مسافران و گردشگران به حساب می‌آید. این بازار که بازار هفتگی گیلان هم است بیشترین تاثیر را در زندگی اقتصادی اهالی این شهر داشته است. می‌توان اجناس و موارد اولیه تمام غذاها را در این بازار با کمترین قیمت نسبت به فروشگاه‌های داخل شهر خریداری کرد. اما خرید تنها آورده این بازار نیست، اگر از بومی‌های شهر نباشید می‌توان گفت که بازارگردی هم نوعی آشنایی با فرهنگ و رسم و رسوم منطقه به شمار می‌آید. با چرخ زدن در بازار هفتگی گیلان می‌توانید به راحتی به لایه‌های عمیق‌تر فرهنگ این شهر نفوذ کنید و با رسوم مردم بیشتر آشنا شوید.

Masuleh About this sound pronunciation is a city in and the capital of Sardar-e Jangal District, in Fuman County, Gilan Province, Iran. It was founded in the 10th century AD.
Masuleh architecture is unique. The buildings have been built into the mountain and are interconnected. Courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets. Masuleh does not allow any motor vehicles to enter, due to its unique layout. It is the only city in Iran with such a prohibition. However, the small streets and many stairs simply wouldn't make it possible for vehicles to enter.
The spectacular architecture of Masuleh is popularly known as The yard of the building above is the roof of the building below.
Yellow clay coats the exterior of most buildings in Masuleh. This allows for better visibility in the fog.

IRAN / Gilan - Masuleh (ماسوله)
Masuleh (Persian: ماسوله, also Romanized as Māsūleh, Masoleh and Masouleh is a village in the Sardar-e Jangal District, in Fuman County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 554 individuals from 180 families.
Historical names for the city include Māsalar and Khortāb. It was founded in the 10th century AD.
Masuleh is approximately 60 km southwest of Rasht and 32 km west of Fuman. The village is 1,050 meters above sea level in the Alborz (or Elburz) mountain range, near the southern coast of the Caspian Sea. The village itself has a difference in elevation of 100 meters.
Although it has been written that the community was established around 10 AD, the province of Gilan has a long history. The first village of Masuleh was established around 1006 AD, 6 km northwest of the current city, and it is called Old-Masuleh (Kohneh Masuleh in Persian). People moved from Old-Masuleh to the current city because of pestilence and attacks from neighbouring communities.
Masouheh-Rood-Khan is the river passing through the city, with a waterfall located just 200 meters away from the village. It's cut-off by snow during the winter months. Fog is the predominant weather feature of Masuleh.

دژ رودخان یا قلعه حسامی نام قلعه‌ای است متعلق به دوره امپراتوری ساسانی که بر فراز ارتفاعات جنگلی شهرستان فومن در روستای رودخان ساخته شده و ۲٫۶ هکتار مساحت و ۶۵ برج و بارو و دیواری به طول ۱۵۰۰ متر دارد. دژ رودخان در ۳۰ کیلومتری شهر فومن است. برخی کارشناسان، ساخت قلعه را در دوران ساسانیان و مقارن با حمله اعراب مسلمان به ایران دانسته‌اند
Introducing the recreational and historical places of Iran - Gilan -Rudkhan Castle
Rudkhan Castle was a military medieval fortress built during the Sasanian Empire (224 – 651 AD) to defend the northern part of the country from southern Arab invaders. This large castle has been renovated and strengthened several times throughout the centuries. One of the most extensive restorations was completed during the Seljuk Era (1037 – 1194) where the castle was used as one of the many fortifications of the Ismaili State (or Alamut State).
For most of the duration of its life, the castle has been mostly used for uprisings and riots against the central power in the country, and even though it has gone through a huge amount of violence and brutality, it still stands strong, hidden in the middle of Northern Gilan’s jungles. In fact, Rudkhan Castle is one of the best well preserved remains of fortifications in ancient Iran.
Rudkhan Castle is built mostly by brick and stone and stands on top of a strategic mountain at the elevation of 715m. It is 30km away from the city of Fuman and just nearby its hiking starting point, lies the village of Rudkhan. To reach the castle, there are hundreds of stairs to climb and that is one of the reasons this castle is also known as “The Thousand Step Castle”.
To reach the castle, you need to hike in the jungle. Depending on how prepared you are, this hike can take from 1 to 2 hours. The path towards the castle is clearly marked and there are numerous small vendors on your path. The steep path to Rudkhan Castle makes it seem unreachable for some travelers, but all who have reached the castle would agree that the beauty of the jungle and the path itself are what make this hike worthwhile.
The castle consists of several parts, most notable of which are the water reservoir, twelve gates, the prison, 42 watchtowers, housings, and the king’s quarters. The king’s quarters are located on the highest point of the castle and feature breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
If you are visiting Gilan province, don’t miss the chance to see Rudkhan’s outstanding castle. It is highly recommended to start your hike early in the morning (especially in summer, when it can get very hot and humid during the day), so you can enjoy your visit in a less crowded environment.

Rudkhan Castle is one of the famous places of fuman man in gilan_province (north_of_iran ). This spectacular castle is located 20 kilometers southwest of Foman, near the village of Rudkhan, above the forest heights of Heydar Alat region and in the middle of a dense forest. The height of Rudkhan Castle is between 655 and 715 meters above sea level.
After traveling approximately 21 kilometers from Foman, you will reach the parking lot of Rudkhan Castle. The distance between Rudkhan_Castle and rasht is one hour and 15 minutes.
Regarding the age of Rudkhan Castle, it should be said that many opinions have been expressed and it is still not clear to what era it belongs to. Some believe that the original building dates back to the Sassanid era or the early Islamic era. During the Seljuk period, this place was renovated and was even one of the bases of the Ismailis. Rudkhan Castle was the ruling center of many rulers of Gilan and Rasht and it was used until the Zandiyeh period. As Hedayat Khan, the ruler of Fuman, repaired this castle in 1175 AH during his uprising against Karim Khan.
The main stairs were pulled out from under the soil during the archaeological excavations along the walls and towers, and their number reaches 935; That's why this place is known as the Thousand Steps Castle.
At the beginning of the way up to Rudkhan Castle and a little ahead of the parking lot, there is also a market that you will see as soon as you reach this place and you might be reminded of Korean and Chinese houses. For those who are into hiking and are interested in eating local food and delicacies while traveling, Rudkhan Castle Bazaar, which is known for its skim sellers, is a good place. In this bazaar, you can also wear colorful and beautiful Gilki clothes to record your happy and sweet moments forever in lasting photo frames.

One of Iran’s most beautiful historical sites is Rudkhan Castle. A castle situated on the summit of tall mountains, near the deep valleys, and in the middle of Fuman’s lush forests. In the beautiful forest area of the mountains stands the great Rudkhan Castle.
Rudkhan Castle is a brick and stone medieval castle in Iran. Located 25 km southwest of Fuman city north of Iran in Gilan province, it is a military complex which had been constructed during the Sasanian era (224-651), and later rebuilt during the Seljuq era by the Nizari Ismailis. قلعه رودخان گیلان یکی از مهم‌ترین دژهای تاریخی و نظامی ایران است که در شهرستان فومن و در میان انبوه درختان جنگلی جای گرفته است. این قلعه مستحکم و تسخیرناپذیر در طول تاریخ خود فراز و نشیب‌های زیادی را پشت سر گذاشته است و اکنون یکی از جاهای دیدنی و مهم فومن محسوب می‌شودکه گردشگران فراوانی را به سوی خود جذب می‌کند.
در مورد قدمت و تاریخچه قلعه رودخان مطالب متعددی وجود دارد و هنوز به طور قطع مشخص نیست که قلعه رودخان مربوط به چه دوره ای است، برخی معتقدند بنای اولیه مربوط به دوره ساسانی یا اوایل دوره اسلامی است، مرمت و بازسازی این آثار تاریخی به دوره سلجوقیان نسبت داده شده و حتی گفته شده از پایگاه‌های اسماعیلیان نیز می‌باشد.
در ضمن قلعه رودخان بزرگ‌ترین قلعه آجری ایران است که در بالاترین نقطه کوه و در میان جنگل‌های سرسبز و انبوه روستای رودخان قرار گرفته و برای مدتی میزبان سردار جنگل میرزا کوچک خان جنگلی بوده است.
