Terga is a municipality in north-western Algeria , renamed Turgot at the time of French colonization, is a municipality in the wilaya of Aïn Témouchent.
The word Terga is a Frenchization of the Berber name Targa (ⵜⴰⵔⴳⴰ) which means: canal, irrigation ditch.
It is the only beach in the town. It is located 7 kilometers from terga, 29 kilometers from Ain Témouchent, 80 kilometers from Oran, 87 kilometers from Sidi Bel Abbes and 90 kilometers from Tlemcen
It is over 750 meters long and 50 meters wide. Its sand is fine. The beach is crossed by the Oued El Maleh on its eastern side. This same wadi designates the border between the municipality of Terga (formerly Turgot) and that of Ouled Boudjemma.
The beach has several car parks, a gendarmerie post, a civil protection post, a dispensary, an Algerian post office, several shops (grocery stores, cafeterias, restaurants, dairy shops, etc ...). It is only inhabited during the summer season. and all businesses are seasonal. A tourist complex is even on the beach, and two more are under construction.

Cape Figalo is an Algerian cape, located in the wilaya of Aïn Témouchent, on the western coast of Algeria, between Oran and the border with Morocco, about 6 km west of Bouzedjar but in the town of 'El Messaid. It marks the southeast limit of the Alboran Sea, the westernmost sea of the Mediterranean.
رأس فيغالو هو رأس جزائري يقع في ولاية عين تموشنت على الساحل الغربي للجزائر بين وهران والحدود مع المغرب على بعد حوالي 6 كيلومترات غرب بوزجار ولكن في بلدة المسيد. يمثل الحد الجنوبي الشرقي لبحر البوران ، أقصى غرب البحر الأبيض المتوسط.

نبذة تاريخيّة عن المدينة
تطلُّ مدينة الغزوات على البحر الأبيض المتوسّط، وهذا الموقع مكّنها من أن تتحوّل لمركز تموينٍ وإخلاء للمرضى المتجهين إلى فرنسا بدْءاً من عام ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وأربعةٍ وأربعين، حيث اقتضت الضرورة في تلك الفترة إتاحة الظروف المناسبة لهؤلاء المعمّرين للاستقرار في المدينة، وبُنيَ أوّلُ منزلٍ من الحجر فيها عامَ ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وستّةٍ وأربعين. في عام ألفٍ وثمانمئةِ وسبعةٍ وأربعين أطلق على المدينة اسم نيمروس؛ نسبةً للحاكم أومال الابن الثاني للويس فيليب. بدأ النموُّ السكّاني في المدينة بعد هذا التاريخ بالتزايد، وازدادت حركة العمران من مساكن وهياكل إداريّة التي أصبحت تشرف على مسيرة النشاط الاقتصاديّ المرتبط بحركة الميناء في المدينة. في الفترةِ الواقعة ما بين عاميْ ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وستّةٍ وأربعين، وعام ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وأربعةٍ وسبعين استقرّ في المدينة نحوَ خمسمئةٍ مواطنٍ فرنسيّ، وفي عام ألفٍ وثمانمئةٍ وستّةٍ وخمسين، بُنيَ نحوَ ثلاثةٍ وخمسين من المباني السكنيّة والهياكل الإداريّة كمقرٍ للبلديّة والمستشفى والمحكمة، ومركزٍ للبريد.
