In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

Surprising Small Town Eaton Rapids & Detroit | Michigan
We were surprised by a small town in Central Michigan named Eaton Rapids. Most times we look to travel to major cities around us often neglecting small towns. Eaton Rapids came as a blessing in disguise when work took us there and revealed its beauty in simplicity. We also had a quick stop at Detroit which welcomed us with rain and cold winds. Then, it’s off to the Island City of Eaton Rapids where a team of Airstreams take over the entire town. We’ll also meet a cool young couple who are teaching the old hotdog some delicious new tricks, and do some fine dining at an English Inn that has it’s own party pub right downstairs. The trailhead is in a neighborhood so be mindful of noise levels
The trail is at an incline and there are some water crossings but as long as you have waterproof hiking boots you most likely will not get wet
The water is still flowing nicely right now however this was taken on 4/12/23 and they are not as full as shown in the video
There are other water fall trails in the area including the popular Eaton Canyon Falls
