Lichuan City, which belongs to Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province, is located in the southwest border of Hubei Province, west of Shu and Yu, east of Enshi, south of Xiaoxiang, north of Three Gorges, and the border of four counties and two districts in Chongqing, is the largest and most populous county-level city in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, with fertile land and rich products. Since ancient times, it has been called Lichuan because it is the river of profit and river of great profit. The city is 92 km wide from east to west. The city is 92 kilometers wide from east to west, 105 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 4605.53 square kilometers, jurisdiction over 2 streets, 8 towns and 4 townships. In March 2019, it was included in the list of the first batch of counties in the area of revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization area.

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province. It is located on the Wuyang River and surrounded by mountains. The river winds through the city in the shape of an S, with the old palace city on the north bank and the old acropolis on the south bank, which resembles a Tai Chi picture from a distance. The two cities were both built in the Ming Dynasty, and some of the city walls and gates still exist. There are a lot of ancient buildings, traditional houses, and historical wharfs inside and outside the city. The ancient town of Zhenyuan enjoys an advantageous location with convenient transportation. The Xiangqian Railway, Zhuzhou-Liuzhou Railway, National Highway 320, and Shanghai-Kunming Expressway pass through the border. It is 90 kilometers, 170 kilometers and 270 kilometers away from Tongren Airport, Hunan Zhijiang Airport and Guiyang Airport, respectively. The county borders Xinhuang in Hunan in the east, Sansui and Jianhe in the south, Shibing in the west, and Shiqian in Cengong and Tongren in the north. Zhenyuan has a long history. It has a history of nearly 2,300 years since the establishment of a county in the 30th year of King Qin Zhao (277 BC). It has been the seat of Taoism and mansion for more than 700 years in the Yuan and Qing dynasties.
On January 7, 2020, it was designated as a national 5A tourist attraction by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Top 7 Things to do in Taipei, TAIWAN
Taipei unexpectedly turned out to be one of our favourite destinations in Asia. Some of the places on this list were absolutely magical. This Taiwan series is the last of our videos during our time overseas before we had to scramble to get back into NZ amidst all the travel restrictions that were popping up daily.

Starting things off we head over to Daan Forest Park, the largest park in Taipei. Peter had an amazing close encounter with a parrot which he befriended. We were pleasantly surprised by the wildlife at Daan Park. Definitely a must visit for nature lovers.

Next up we head to a famous town called Shifen. Shifen is best known for two things, Shifen Waterfall and Shifen Old Street. Shifen waterfall is Taiwan's broadest waterfall. It's also known as Little Niagara of Taiwan, while Shifen Old Street is where sky lanterns get released (which we opted not to do for environmental reasons). While at Shifen Old Street, there's also nice scenery, snacks and gift shops to enjoy.
Shifen Waterfall and Shifen Old Street are however very close to one another though and they were both part of our transportation package together with Jiufen.

After visiting Shifen, we headed over to one of the most magical places we've ever been - Jiufen. If you love the Japanese animated movie Spirited Away you will love Jiufen because there is definitely something special about this village that really resembles the famous Studio Ghilbi anime.
Jiufen is commonly misconceived to be the inspiration for the town and bathhouse in Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away, however Miyazaki has said it wasn't but the place really does bear a resemblance and gives you the Spirited Away vibes. It's no wonder so many people flock to Jiufen, Taiwan and have dubbed it the Real Life Spirited Away.

To get to these places you can take public transport, however we found a shuttle bus option offered by Klook which made getting to Shifen and Jiufen much more convenient and relaxing.
Another must do activity when you're in Taipei or Taiwan, is visit a Taiwanese night market. There are a ton of nightmarkets to visit in Taipei, but for this video we went to Tonghua night market. It's also known as Linjiang night market. Tonghua is a much more local night market than others in Taipei so it's less crowded compared to the far more popular tourist night markets such as Shilin and Raohe. Nothing beats a hot lu rou fan on a cool night and the smell of the stinky tofu will either repel or make you salivate.

Often hailed as one of the top must visit attractions of Taipei, is the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (CSK Memorial Hall) is the most prominent historical landmark in Taiwan. At the complex, you'll also see the Liberty Arches as well as the National Concert Hall and National Theatre.

Did you know that many of the treasures from the Forbidden Palace are actually located in Taipei, Taiwan? Check them out at the National Palace Museum. Definitely another popular must visit attraction in Taipei.

Duyun, referred to as Yun. It is the political, economic, and cultural center of southern Guizhou Province, an important transportation hub in southwestern China, one of the five major urban centers of the Qianzhong Economic Zone, and the capital of the prefecture-level administrative region of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. With a total area of 2285 square kilometers, there are 33 ethnic minorities including Buyi, Miao, Shui, Yao, etc., and ethnic groups dominated by Buyi make up 67.08% of the total population. The city governs 1 provincial-level economic development zone, 5 offices, 4 towns, and 1 township (including 1 Shuizu autonomous township). The total area of urban built-up area is 68 square kilometers (2016). According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Duyun is 529,688 as of 2020.
Duyun City is located on the bank of the Jianjiang River in Jiuxi Guiyi. Many rivers merge into the Jianjiang River at the source of Yuanjiang River and pass through the city. The jasper-like Jianjiang River, Yingyu and flowing flowers along the banks of the river, and green hills, is a natural ecological environment with beautiful mountains and rivers.
The city of Duyun is located in the eastern part of southern Guizhou Province, between 107°7' to 107°46' east longitude and 25°51' to 26°26' north latitude. It borders Danzhai and Sandu counties to the east, Dushan and Pingtang counties to the south, Guiding County to the west, and Majiang County to the north. 64 kilometers wide from east to west, 63 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 2285 square kilometers
The Duyun area is home to Yi, Bai, Dai, Zhuang, Miao, Hui, Lisu, Lahu, Wa, Naxi, Yao, Tibetan, Jingpo, Bulang, Buyi, Achang, Hani, Xibe, There are 33 ethnic groups including Pumi, Mongolian, Nu, Jinuo, Deang, Shui, Manchu, Dulong, Gelao, and the ethnic group to be identified, Raojia, among which ethnic minorities account for 68.5% of the total population of the prefecture.

Anita from Sam the Local takes us for a quick spin around Prince Edward to see some awesome local shopping hot spots. Conveniently located in Kowloon, Prince Edward is a local center for food and shopping. It is not just your typical department stores either. Even if you’re not a big shopper, you’ll still have a great time exploring Prince Edward.
First, we visit the Goldfish market. This is a fish keeper’s paradise. Everything from exotic animals to oxygen pumps, you’ll be able to find it here at a reasonable price. It’s like going to an aquarium, except everything is for sale.
Two minutes on foot away is the famed Flower Market. This is a great place to go to appreciate the horticulture of Hong Kong. From bonsai trees to carnivorous pitcher plants, this market has it all. We consider this the city’s largest unofficial botanical garden.
Just around the corner from the Flower Market is the Yuen Po Bird Market. Bird keeping is a tradition as old as Dim Sum. Bird owners from all over the city flock to the market for supplies, or just to hang out. Avoid striking up a conversation with local bird keepers, unless you want to them to talk your ear off about their passion.
Lastly, Anita takes us to Golden Plaza, which is a local hot spot for everything wedding related. Come get a taste of what weddings are like in Hong Kong. From dresses to suits and car rentals to photography packages, the Golden Plaza is a 360˚ crash course in Hong Kong weddings.

Moutai town is in the north of Guizhou province, known as the production site of moutai wine and located on the southeast (right) bank of the Chishui River. It is under the administration of Renhuai City. Renhuai is a county-level city located in the north of Guizhou province, China, bordering Sichuan province to the west. It is under the administration of Zunyi City. Zunyi is a prefecture-level city in northern Guizhou province, China, situated between the provincial capital Guiyang to the south and Chongqing to the north, also bordering Sichuan to the northwest.
Guizhou is a landlocked province in the southwest of the People's Republic of China. Its capital and largest city is Guiyang, in the central part of the province. Stone Slab Street, Guizhou
Located at the Guanghui Road, Duyun city of Guizhou Province, the Stone Slab Street is a 312 meters (0.19 mile) long street paved by about 11,000 flagstones. Originally built during the reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty, it was the main post road from Guizhou to Guangxi during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
In addition, Buyi Minority weddings, reed pipe and bronze drum performances and other folk activities are often held on this street. In recent years, it has attracted Japanese, American, Singaporean and other overseas group tourists to come here for sight-seeing.

On the upper reaches of the Hongshui River in the southeast of Ziyun County, and 76 km from the city proper of Anshun, the Getu River is a national scenic and historic interest zone, which integrates karst landforms and landscapes, an ecological envieronment, scientific investigations and explorations, suspension coffins, tombs in caves, and ethinic customs and lifestyle.
With an area of 58.6 sq km, the scenic zone is composed of four scenic zones -- Dachuangdong, Dhe, Xiaochuangdong and Yaoyan, and 24 independent scenic spots, ehich were formed because of the intermttent uplift of the new structural movement after the Quaterary period, the extrusion of the Himalayas and the down-cutting of the base level of erosion. The deep and serene karst caves, towering mountains, limpid waters, oddly-shaped rocks, precipitous cliffs and dese forests inthe scenic zone are an integral whole.

You should pause when passing Feitan Waterfall if you're visiting Baofeng Lake.
A bridge over the waterfall's cascade, and a sizable koi pond are all present at Feitan Waterfall, which is close to and visible from the road leading to Baofeng Lake. The waterfall isn't as impressive as Yellowstone's or Tasmania's enormous falls, but it still has enough beauty to be worth the trip.
