Stormy Weather in Hangzhou China
After visiting Cheng Du Cheng in Hangzhou (last weeks video) we had one more day left there before going to Huangshan (Yellow Mountains). On this day we visited the West Lake and the weather turned bad on us in the blink of an eye! Eventually the mountains that surround the lake weren't even visible anymore :o

永慶坊為中國廣東廣州一個南北走向的內街創意園區，位於荔灣區恩洲社區一帶，南起恩寧路，北至荔枝灣湧與粵劇藝術博物館附近。創意園區前身為永慶大街、永慶一巷和永慶二巷。
2022年工程擴展至古老金聲電影院的原址，並依傍僅存的一面電影院牆身興建新建築物，稱為改造工程。
由於永慶坊所在的恩寧路一帶在二十世紀二十至三十年代曾是粵劇劇團及伶人聚集之地，附近有不少粵劇界人物的故居，永坊範圍內就有李海泉（李小龍之父，故稱李小龍祖居）、劉美卿、盧啟光、舞台設計師何碧溪的故居。

寶華路是中國廣東省廣州市荔灣區西關一條南北向的道路，北接華貴路，南至恩寧路、第十甫路，全長770米，寬11米。道路兩旁商業發達，與附近的上下九步行街連成一體，在寶華路與長壽西路交匯處建有地鐵一號線的長壽路站。目前車輛通行方向為由北往南單向通行。
寶華路原名寶華中路和十五甫，1930年代擴建為路，仍使用「寶華」二字作路名。
1994年興建地鐵一號線，在寶華路計畫為長壽路地鐵站設置3個進出口，同時開搞地產開發，將一帶不少舊宅、店鋪拆平，重新建起30層以上的恆寶華庭等樓盤，而部分地皮興辦了大竄地安置商戶，與為社區提供商品服務（大笪地後被收回留待政府再開發）。

多寶路是中國廣州市荔灣區西關的一條東西向道路，東與寶華路相接，西接黃沙大道與如意坊直街相連，全長1390米，寬18米。
在1929年至1930年把寶慶新街、多寶大街擴建後馬路，取名為多寶路。其「多寶」的由來是安徽巡撫陳華熙為清朝太子少保，他在該地建樓宇，眾人公推他為該地起名，定名為「多寶」。 1966年將其西邊的時敏路和如意坊東併入該路。文化大革命期間，多寶路曾被命名為“新風路”，1982年復名。
根據《中國致公黨廣東省委員會發展史》記載，中國致公黨1925年10月在美國舊金山成立，後來活動中心從舊金山移到香港，1949年底，致公黨總部從香港遷至廣州，最後尋址多寶路24至26號（後編為多寶路221號、223號）。直至1953年7月，總部才正式遷往北京，此地則成為華南總支部辦公地點。 “這是8個民主黨派，唯一在廣州設過中央總部之地，有著重要的歷史意義”，致公黨廣東省委員會宣傳處負責人吳熾榮曾表示。可惜作為辦公地主體的223號，因興建地鐵於1996年被整體拆除。
1999年7月，多寶路201-221號，作為清末民初的舊民宅建築，被公佈為市級文物保護單位。
未來計劃興建的如意坊大橋與此路相連。

Yongqingfang is a north-south inner street creative park in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is located in the Enzhou community of Liwan District, starting from Enning Road in the south and ending at Litchi Bay and the Cantonese Opera Art Museum in the north. The creative park was formerly known as Yongqing Street, Yongqing Lane 1 and Yongqing Lane 2.
In 2022, the project will be expanded to the original site of the ancient Jinsheng Cinema, and a new building will be built next to the only remaining wall of the cinema, which is called the renovation project.
Since the Enning Road area where Yongqingfang is located was a gathering place for Cantonese opera troupes and actors in the 1920s and 1930s, there are many former residences of Cantonese opera figures nearby. The former residences of Li Haiquan (Bruce Lee's father, so it is called Bruce Lee's ancestral home), Liu Meiqing, Lu Qiangguang, and stage designer He Bixi are within the scope of Yongfang.

Baohua Road is a north-south road in Xiguan, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It connects Huagui Road in the north and Enning Road and Diyifu Road in the south. It is 770 meters long and 11 meters wide. The commercial areas on both sides of the road are well developed, and it is connected to the nearby Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. The Changshou Road Station of Metro Line 1 is built at the intersection of Baohua Road and Changshou West Road. At present, the traffic direction is one-way from north to south.
Baohua Road was originally named Baohua Middle Road and Shiwupu. It was expanded into a road in the 1930s, and the word Baohua was still used as the road name.
In 1994, Metro Line 1 was built. Three entrances and exits were planned for Changshou Road Metro Station on Baohua Road. At the same time, real estate development was started. Many old houses and shops in the area were demolished and rebuilt into buildings such as Hengbao Hua Ting with more than 30 floors. Some of the land was used to build a large land to accommodate merchants and provide commodity services to the community (the large land was later recovered and left for government redevelopment).

The Unknown and Forgotten Place of Buddha : Where Buddha Descended from Heaven
In Sankissa Buddha descended from heaven after preaching Abhidhamma to his mother and the assembly of Devas in the Trayastrimsa heaven. Buddha ascended into the Trayastrimsa heaven after performing the Twin Miracles at Sravasti. After spending three months on a rainy retreat in heaven, he informed Sakka, the king of Gods, about his intention of returning to earth. Sakka created three ladders; one made out of gold another of silver and the third made out of jewels. The top of each ladder was placed on the peak of Mount Meru and the bottom was at the gate of Sankissa city. Buddha descended upon the jewelled ladder, the gods and Brahmas accompanying him on each side, with the gods taking the gold ladder and Brahma the silver ladder. The miracle was witnessed by a large crowd of people at the gate of Sankissa and the location of Buddha’s descent from heaven became a very important pilgrimage destination.
This is the place where Buddha descended from heaven. It remained lost for centuries and even after it was rediscovered it remained neglected and forgotten. Why one of the eight greatest places of Buddhist pilgrimage has been ignored and forgotten.
Once it was one of the most visited Buddhist destinations in the world. Today it may be just another small village in some remote part of India but at the time of Buddha, it was one of the largest cities in the country.
Sankissa is located in the village of Basantpur in Farrukhabad district of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Xuanzang, the famous Chinese scholar who visited Sankissa in the seventh century mentions that there were several large monasteries present in the city which housed more than 1000 monks and nuns. He mentions that the monasteries were heavily decorated and had beautiful images of Buddha and Bodhisattvas.
