Hunting Dragons & Castles | A Hike through the Dove Valley in the English Peak District
A 12.5 mile and 2000ft ascent hike from Pilsbury over to the Dragons Back via Pilsbury Castle (a Norman Double Bailey and Motte Castle). The Dragon's Back is a pair of striking limestone hills in the English Peak District which resemble the back of a sleeping Dragon.
Not for the faint hearted as it is steep and slippy underfoot in places especially in the wet, so care should be taken.
Learn all about the history and geology of the area on the hike through the glorious Peak District.
