Holland Bikepacking tour Day 10: Doetinchem to Groningen
Here it is, the last ( long) day on the bike during this trip. Somehow I managed to make this ride even longer than yesterday's: 178 versus 175 kms. Well, apparantly I can do that ;-)
I was very happy though that my friend Peter-jan joined me for the last 100 kms as that was exactly the sort of mental support that I didn't know I needed. That and 2 coffee/ apple pie stops of course..
Despite the bad weather predictions overall, I can't complain too much as the total amount of rain was 1.5 hours over 10 days..
This certainly wet my appetite for more cycle trips, so I hope to see you somewhere around the road ! Be sure to share content If you have done something similar, I would be interested :-) for now, thanks for watching and be safe out there !

After visiting a prospect in Doetinchem, I take a walk through this Eastern Netherlands town's center. While the local church is producing happy tunes and the weather is nice, I got to take some nice footage there!
Then I headed back to Amsterdam where I visited a friend in the evening.

Holland Bikepacking Tour Day 9: Eys to Doetinchem
Todays'ride ended up being the longest I'd ever done at 175 kilometers. It was a good day on the bike though with a strong wind from the South West gentle pushing me forwards. And sideways at times..I had to make sure to catch a ferry near Nijmegen before 17:45 and try to dodge as much of the expected rainfall as possible as well.
