A Road Trip to Dinuba, CA On Memorial Day Weekend (May 25, 2013)
Watch in high quality (480p). In this video, it shows a road trip down to Dinuba, CA on this lovely Memorial Day weekend. Me and my family were headed to Dinuba, CA for my cousin's wedding that was to take place the very next day (Sunday). The travel time/trip until we reached Dinuba was around like 7 hrs or so, including a few stops along the way.
We left San Jose, CA shortly after noon time. By the time we reached U.S. 101 SB before Morgan Hill, CA the traffic became heavy. It appeared that everyone was heading out of town on this Memorial Day weekend! Once we got onto CA 152, we stopped by Casa de Fruta in Hollister, CA for a bit. It was my first time here. This was our first stop. Then we went back on CA 152, headed eastward, passing by San Luis Reservoir. Then we finally hit I-5 shortly after. It was the long stretch down south towards Lemoore, CA. We then went onto CA 198 eastbound. The place really did look like in the middle of nowhere! By the time it was around We were on the way to Lemoore, CA to stop by Auntie Elsa's bakery for a bit. We saw a dust devil to the south just upon reaching Lemoore, CA just after 3:30 p.m.
After the short visit at the Trinity Justo Bakery in Lemoore, we headed to Uncle Bello's house in Hanford, CA to pick up some supplies (Vienna sausage and olive oil, etc lol) It has been years since we came here! Their trees were big now...that's how long it was.
Then it was nearing sunset so we then continued the remaining short journey to Dinuba from Hanford. We went on a couple more roads, CA 43 and E Mountain View Ave, headed eastward. We stopped by Valero to refuel up before tackling the last bit of road before reaching the city of Dinuba! We arrived to our destination safely, which was the Best Western Americana hotel...our home away from home...

Incorporated as a city of California in 1885, Fresno was named after the abundance of ash trees that were lined along the San Joaquin River, which runs through the northern portion of the city. Fresno is known as an agricultural city and is the economic hub for San Joaquin Valley.
Built in 1966, the Fresno County Courthouse sits in directly in the middle of Downtown Fresno. The structure replaces the previous and original neo-classical style courthouse that was completed in 1875. The Fresno County Superior Court was established in 1856.
