Our first day in Tel Aviv was a beautiful one! We spent the day exploring the Levinksy Market, the Carmel Market, and the Jaffa Market in the old city. Then we had the best hummus in the world for lunch!! Followed by a gorgeous sunset on the beach. We ended the night with our first Shabbat dinner with new friends! This was our first time experiencing the Jewish Sabbath in another country, and it was a really special night. Thank you again Aaron for having us :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Travel in the Arava Desert from Eilat to Dimona Israel ROAD 90 /25
Travel in the Arava Desert from Eilat to Dimona Israel
In the opening is written from Taba but unfortunately there was a malfunction and the passage from Taba was dropped
The border of Egypt to Eilat ...
Probably will be in another movie
But here we have an afternoon ride with the special colors of the setting sun on the desert
From Eilat to the north, I took Route 90, which is the longest in the State of Israel
At the Arava junction I turned left until I reached the nearest city Dimona
And you can see the spectacular sunset of the sun
On Road 25 in the direction of Be'er Sheva

Israel

The Ten Commandments Scroll at Cincinnati Museum Center
LIMITED ENGAGEMENT: Friday, March 29 - Sunday, April 14, 2013
Witness the oldest, best-preserved parchment scroll of The Ten Commandments, containing text from Deuteronomy 5 - perhaps the most remarkable of all the Dead Sea Scrolls - in Cincinnati for 17 days only.
A special gift from Great American Insurance Group has enabled Cincinnati Museum Center to bring the 2,100-year-old Ten Commandments Scroll to Cincinnati from Good Friday (March 29) to April 14, 2013, to join 10 other scrolls in our special exhibition Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times.
The Ten Commandments Scroll contains text from Deuteronomy 5 and is among the trove of ancient writings known as the Dead Sea Scrolls, a group of approximately 900+ ancient writings discovered in 11 caves in the Judean desert and dating from 250 BCE to 68 CE.
The 17-day exhibition period of the Ten Commandments Scroll is the longest that the Israel Antiquities Authority has allowed it outside Israel since 2007 because of the scroll's universal importance, its fragility and its age. Following the exhibition, which closes on April 14, the Ten Commandments scroll will be returned to Israel.

A tour of the holy place for Jews: The Western Wall (Wailing Wall), Jerusalem, Israel

The Western Wall is located in the Old City of
Jerusalem at the foot of the western side of the Temple Mount. It is a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Jewish Temple's courtyard and is one of the most sacred sites in Judaism outside of the Temple Mount itself. Just over half the wall, including its 17 courses located below street level, dates from the end of the Second Temple period, being constructed around 19 BCE by Herod the Great. The remaining layers were added from the 7th century onwards. The Western Wall refers not only to the exposed section facing a large plaza in the Jewish Quarter, but also to the sections concealed behind structures running along the whole length of the Temple Mount, such as the Little Western Wall - a 25 ft (8 m) section in the Muslim Quarter.
