Termalni vodeni park je smješten u samome srcu malog grada Daruvara koji se nalazi u sjeverozapadnom dijelu Hrvatske (u zapadnom dijelu pokrajine Slavonije). Udaljen je 125 km od glavnog grada Zagreba ,130 km od Osijeka,60 km od Gradiške i 100 km od Banjaluke. Grad Daruvar gradi svoj kulturni identitet još iz rimskog doba kada je ovaj prostor naseljavalo panonsko-keltsko pleme Iasi.
Termalni vodeni park nalazi se svega 300 m od središta grada. Prostire se na 10 000 m2 od kojih je 2 000 m2 vodenih površina. Sadrži dva bazena, mirnu rijeku dužine preko 200 m, dva tobogana, oazu mira s finskom i turskom saunom, whirlpool, prostor za masaže i relaksaciju, restoran s vrhunskom i raznolikom ponudom hrane i pizza, bazenski bar, ledo punkt, itd. Bazen obiluje mnoštvom vodenih efekata poput leđnih masaža, gejzira, bujice te vodenih tuševa.

A Morning in Bjelovar, Croatia
During our Croatia road trip my girlfriend and I spent the night in Bjelovar. It wasn't planned but it turned out that Bjelovar, Croatia is a lovely place to visit!
It's a very small town and since we were staying nearby we decided to explore Bjelovar in the morning before continuing on with our trip.
Bjelovar is the capital city of the region with a population of 40,000 people. Walking around on a summer morning the town felt much smaller and it was a rather quiet and peaceful place to visit.
There is a small old town area in the center of town and a few other buildings and churches to check out. After grabbing breakfast and exploring for an hour we decided to continue on with our trip.
Bjelovar is a great place to visit and I hope to return in the future to spend some more time exploring the town!

A Sneak Peek | Town of Varaždin | Croatia
The City of Varaždin is found in the northwestern part of Croatia. The city is at an altitude between 169 and 173 metres, with an average annual temperature of 10° C. The city lies along the Drava River on a fertile alluvial plain that slopes towards the River Drava from the southwest to the northeast. The plain slightly elevates in the Haloze region and Varaždinsko Topličko Gorje hills.
Varaždin is positioned on the crossroads of the historical regions of Styria, Međimurje, Zagorje and upper Drava Valley, without belonging to any of these regional cultural circles. Varaždin is, simply, Varaždin; a special micro-region with its own, Varaždin identity, traditions and cultural patterns.
Varaždin has always been a city open to the world. Since it originated at a crossroads of ancient Roman roads, and developed into a trade and craft centre, people from all over Europe came to Varaždin to work or make it their home. This open spirit has remained in the form of a network of partner cities stepping far beyond the borders of Europe.

We Visited The Croatian Coast - Exploring Dalmatia Part II
Greetings Everyone!
In today's video, we will show you some of the less-known towns and beaches along the Croatian coast in our today's video! If you've watched Part I, you have seen us discover the Neretva river valley and the surrounding areas. This time, we are taking you further north into Dalmatia where we will explore the cute towns from Gradac to Trogir. The history of that area is absolutely epic; it even predates the Roman Era. We will start the journey in Zivogosce, only to return to Gradac and keep going through the Dalmatia coastline all the way up to Trogir. We have tested the beaches in the area and had an amazing time. Our Croatian adventure is nearing its end for this time, but we will surely be back to show you the northern part of the Croatian coast, starting from Zadar all the way up to the Istria peninsula.

Croatia was first divided into counties in the Middle Ages. The divisions changed over time to reflect losses of territory to Ottoman conquest and subsequent liberation of the same territory, changes of the political status of Dalmatia, Dubrovnik, and Istria. The traditional division of the country into counties was abolished in the 1920s when the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and the subsequent Kingdom of Yugoslavia introduced oblasts and banovinas respectively.

Communist-ruled Croatia, as a constituent part of post-World War II Yugoslavia, abolished earlier divisions and introduced municipalities, subdividing Croatia into approximately one hundred municipalities. Counties were reintroduced in 1992 legislation, significantly altered in terms of territory relative to the pre-1920s subdivisions. In 1918, the Transleithanian part was divided into eight counties with their seats in Bjelovar, Gospić, Ogulin, Osijek, Požega, Varaždin, Vukovar, and Zagreb.
As of 1992, Croatia is divided into 20 counties and the capital city of Zagreb, the latter having the dual authority and legal status of a county and a city. County borders changed in some instances, last revised in 2006. The counties subdivide into 127 cities and 429 municipalities. Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) division is performed in several tiers. NUTS 1 level considers the entire country in a single unit; three NUTS 2 regions come below that. Those are Northwest Croatia, Central and Eastern (Pannonian) Croatia, and Adriatic Croatia. The latter encompasses the counties along the Adriatic coast. Northwest Croatia includes Koprivnica-Križevci, Krapina-Zagorje, Međimurje, Varaždin, the city of Zagreb, and Zagreb counties and the Central and Eastern (Pannonian) Croatia includes the remaining areas—Bjelovar-Bilogora, Brod-Posavina, Karlovac, Osijek-Baranja, Požega-Slavonia, Sisak-Moslavina, Virovitica-Podravina, and Vukovar-Syrmia counties. Individual counties and the city of Zagreb also represent NUTS 3 level subdivision units in Croatia. The NUTS local administrative unit divisions are two-tiered. LAU 1 divisions match the counties and the city of Zagreb in effect making those the same as NUTS 3 units, while LAU 2 subdivisions correspond to cities and municipalities.
