We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

The ULTIMATE ITINERARY for 10 days in Buenos Aires

I spent one year in Argentina (plus 5 months in Buenos Aires back in 2005). Buenos Aires is one of my favorite cities in the entire world, and I want to share with you what makes it so great.

This 10 day itinerary begins on a Friday morning, and is arranged according to market schedules, or other events in the city that fall on particular days. But you can certainly do the activities out of order, and fit them to your schedule as needed.

I have planned this 10-day itinerary to allow you to maximize your days, and hours in this amazing city, but still allow you to enjoy the small moments without feeling overwhelmed, and get rest when needed.

If you're looking for further details, check out the itinerary on the Thatch app: it will provide you not only with daily activities, but information on how to get the best exchange rate, how to stay safe, and information for transportation- how to get from spot to spot, so you can put as little time into planning as possible. Let me do that for you! :)

I discovered Demasiado tours through Couchsurfing and recommendations from friends I met at different CouchSurfing meetings in Buenos Aires.

2) Recoleta neighborhood & cemetery
This barrio is one of the fancy onces, close to the city center -- great architecture, nice parks and one of the most popular cemeteries in town with impressive graves of notable people like Evita. I did a free tour here as well to get a quick overview before walking around on my own.

The amount of people who immigrated from Italy to Buenos Aires and Argentina in general is very high -- therefore you can find loads of great Ice Cream Parlours here. Beside the big chains like Freddo you should go for some family owned businesses -- ask the locals as they know best where to go!

5) Discover Buenos Aires by Bike
Time to do something active: grab a bike and cycle around the city (like I did in Berlin)! Since 2 years the city provides a decent network of bicycle routes & most of the hostels offer a bike rental service. This is a great way to get to know Puerto Madero as there is no Subte (Metro) station close to it.

6) Parks
After all these activities it's time for a break! Luckily you can find a decent amount of green areas all around the city. My favourite one has been Bosques de Palermo

more info: Top 5 Buenos Aires Parks (#6):

7) Tango
Tango was born in San Telmo and there is an option to watch it for free at the sundays open-air market.

8) San Telmo Market / Sunday fair
The best day to visit the oldest barrio of Buenos Aires, San Telmo, is possibly on Sundays where you can stroll along the antique-market. Though it is very touristy it is a good place to get some nice souvenirs.

9) Steak & Malbec Wine
There is no visit to Argentina without having a great steak sided by some of the best wines you can find! Beside having an Asado with friends, the restaurant Las Cabras is a very good and budget friendly option which is quite popular by locals, too!

more info: Steak Restaurant (#9):
Las Cabras - cheap, tasty and popular amongst locals (

10) Party & Nightlife
Buenos Aires is exhausting as you can party there every night ;) Around the neighborhood Palermo you can find a high density of Bars and Clubs.

Cutral Co, means water of fire in the Mapuche language (Mapudungún). Located in the province of Neuquén, 110 kilometers from its capital, it is the second largest city in this province. It forms with its neighbor Plaza Huincul, an urban agglomeration of more than almost 60 thousand inhabitants.
In 1876 a hostel for travelers was installed in the place, the railway did not yet exist.
It is striking that its first name was Barrio Peligroso, although it later adopted its current name. The arrival of the settlers occurred fundamentally after the discovery of oil in 1918, the basis of the local economy, although it is converting its economy towards other primary and industrial activities. In 1921, the railway station was installed, which had arrived in the area in 1915 and was what allowed the transfer of equipment for the first drilling.
The mentor of all, was Dr. Pedro Zanni, who in 1928, in response to the way in which the first settlers of Barrio Peligroso lived, decided to urbanize the place by taking the appropriate steps. Thus, in 1933 the town was incorporated into the national geography as Pueblo Nuevo and in 1935, it adopted its current name, although in 1955 it was renamed Eva Perón, it returned to Cutral Có in 1955.
This city is well known since in 1996 its inhabitants were the first to implement the picket as a form of protest.
It has an inactive airport, which knew how to have regular flights a few decades ago from the company Aerolineas Argentinas.
It was recently designated alternative capital of the Argentine Republic along with other cities.
It has refineries to process the crude oil once it has been extracted and from there comes part of the fuel (gasoline) consumed in the country.
It has several monuments by local artist Aldo Beroisa, such as the huge statue in homage to Jaime de Nevares, Bishop of Neuquén, who had an active role in defending human rights.
On route 22, there is an imposing and giant statue of Jesus, supporting one of his knees and with his hands extended in a sign of embrace.
Another of the works of this artist is an AVRO 748 plane, also located on Route 22, in memory of the workers who died in an accident in 1976.
Very close to Cutral Có, about 50 kilometers away, is Lake Los Barreales to be visited.
About 75 kilometers from the city of Zapala, from which you can then go to the south or north of the province.
