I ran 54 kilometers to Contramaestre on day six despite continued pain and discomfort in my leg behind the left knee. As soon as I stopped for the day vicious amounts of rain hit. Sipping my glass of chilled Sugar cane juice under the awning of the little stand that sold it I felt strangely connected to the notion that God waited for me to finish first and then let it pour. Of course it could all be a coincidence but the truth is it doesn't really matter since it only has to do with my own personal reflections.
On day 7 I ran 54km to and through Bayamo. We then drove back to the city for rooms and I enjoyed a real Cuban view and feeling from the balcony in the apartment of Jose and Alex's friends. I also rented a room in a house with a real treat entitled hot water after the use of which we walked around revolution square and went to a hotel to make use of the Internet (5 bucks for an hour is expensive). Was very satisfied by the stay in Bayamo ( we spent two nights here as the atmosphere was extremely comfortable). The songs are Freedom by Louna and Earth by Masha and the Bears.
На щестой день несмотря на боль в левом колене я пробежал 54 километра до Контрамаестре. Как только я пришел к финишу полил сумашедший ливень. Я стоял у маленькой стойки которая продавала прохладительные напитки и потягивая из стакана холодный тростниковый напиток испытал странное ощущение связи с Богом который подождал пока я финишировал и только потом дал добро на ливень. Конечно это всё могло быть просто совпадением но по-правде это уже не важно так как это было лишь моё личное восприятие.
На 7-мой день я пробежал 54 километра до Баямо. Мы вернулись в город на ночлег и я насладился чудесным Кубинским пейзажем с балкона друзей Хозэ и Алекса. Вдобавок, комната которую я снял была с горячей водой, и приняв как данное этот настоящий подарок, я отправился на площадь Революции, а потом мы зашли в отель попользоваться интернетом ( 5 долларов в час дороговато). Так понравился Баямо что мы ночевали там дважды. Песни Свобода(гр. Louna a) и Земля (Маша и Медведи)
