TOP10 – Balkhash/ Meet Me In QAZAQStan
Travel to #TOP10 destinations of Kazakhstan
_____________________________
Balkhash is one of the largest lakes in Kazakhstan. One part of it is filled with salty waters, and the other is completely fresh.
It is surrounded by very picturesque and rather harsh places: the Betpak-dala desert, the Chu-Ili mountain ranges and the southern Taukum sands.
To see the beauty and greatness of Balkhash means to experience inspiration.
Balkhash - your inspiration!

Travel Beauty of Kazakhstan in 4K Ultra HD by Drone | The Land of Tremendous Rivers
Kazakhstan, a Main Asian country and former Soviet republic, expands from the Caspian Sea in the west to the Altai Hills at its eastern border with China and Russia. Its largest city, Almaty, is an enduring trading center whose landmarks consist of Ascension Basilica, a tsarist-era Russian Received church, and the Central State Museum of Kazakhstan, showing countless Kazakh artifacts. Kazakhstan is the wealthiest nation in Central Asia due to its large oil and natural gas. The country inherited the society of the old Silk Road, the Nomadic lifestyle, and the Soviet Union, which significantly impacted its development. The most significant rivers in the country are Irtysh, Yesil, Tobol, Ural, Syr Darya, Ili, Chu. The length of each of them is more than 1 000 km. The Ural brings its waters to the container of the Caspian Sea, Syrdarya streams into the Aral Sea, and the Irtysh, Tobol, and Yesil are rivers that feed the Arctic Sea. Kazakhstan is the biggest nation in Central Asia and the nine most significant in the world.

I visited Ho Chi Minh City | Vietnam trip finally begins! Tanya Khanijow
Travelling to another country is exciting, but it’s important to know how to navigate your way around like a pro, especially if you don’t speak the local language. Well, the good news is, all you need is to have the right device with you!
See how it’s done, as I take all of you through on my escapade to Vietnam.
#OnePlus10T5G #DoMoreWithGoogle
I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, also formerly known as Saigon, only to realise that English is not as common, even in such a big and vibrant city. But in Rome, do as Romans, so I took the help of Google maps, translate and lens to find interesting things about my destinations.
Did you know that you can also download the Vietnamese language offline so that it is easy to communicate even when you are not connected to the internet?
The places that I visited within the city were:
✨ Tan Dinh Church (Pink Church)
✨Ho Thi Ky Flower Market
✨ Mekong Delta
✨ Starlight Bridge

Top 10 Villages to Visit in China - Historic Towns and Countryside (Travel Video)
Welcome to China’s villages and historic towns. Often touted for its ever changing city skylines, China’s countryside shows a very different side of the country. From beautiful riverside villages to snow covered mountain towns. From mysterious tulou (earthen buildings) to awe-inspiring rice terraces. Traveling rural China can be an eye-opening experience.
I spent more than 18 months in China, spread over the course of a decade and a half. In the last years, I started filming the places that I traveled to, using regular cameras and drones. All footage in this travel video is shot by myself between 2010 and 2019.

Here’s a brief overview of the content in this video:
We start off this journey in Yuanyang, a spectacular mountain region where you can find some of the world’s most jaw-dropping rice terraces. Staying with local families is a great way to explore the area, filled with breathtaking landscapes and friendly villages.
Xuexiang is located in the North of China, and is mostly known for its extreme Winter weather, with freezing temperatures and layers of snow. It’s a popular tourist attraction and beautiful sight. The ‘tulou’ buildings in Fujian province are the next destination. These structures were used by the local Hakka people as defense against rivaling communities and bandits. While many still function as homes, some are now used as restaurants and hotels for tourists.
Lijiang is one of China’s most beautiful historic towns, with classic architecture and narrow lanes that can be explored for days. Nearby Dali is worth a visit for its incredible Three Pagodas and Buddhist temple. We travel onwards to Xiahe, a tranquil town just outside Tibet proper. Join monks and pilgrims on traditional koras, and soke up Tibetan culture.
Yangshuo, on the banks of the Li River, might be one of China’s most famous villages, surrounded by mesmerizing limestone hills and mountains. It also provides a good insight into farming life in the country (you can rent bicycles and motorcycles for nice day trips). Shaoshan is a somewhat odd place. It’s the birthplace of Mao Zedong, regarded as the founder of the People’s Republic. The village is a popular stop on the ‘Red Tourism’ trail, a government propaganda campaign.
Fenghuang is a stunning ancient village in the same Hunan province, with incredible architecture, including stone bridges and towers, stilt houses, and a city wall. The next spot on my list is Zhujiajao a popular ‘water town’, not far from Shanghai.
We finish this tour in Pingyao, perhaps the best preserved walled town (or small city) in the country. It used to be an important center of trade and finance, and it’s fascinating to walk the quiet neighborhoods and intriguing alleyways.

Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi
The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, in the town of Yasi, now Turkestan, was built at the time of Timur (Tamerlane), from 1389 to 1405. In this partly unfinished building, Persian master builders experimented with architectural and structural solutions later used in the construction of Samarkand, the capital of the Timurid Empire. Today, it is one of the largest and best-preserved constructions of the Timurid period.
Petroglyphs of the Archaeological Landscape of Tanbaly
Set around the lush Tanbaly Gorge, amidst the vast, arid Chu-Ili mountains, is a remarkable concentration of some 5,000 petroglyphs (rock carvings) dating from the second half of the second millennium BC to the beginning of the 20th century. Distributed among 48 complexes with associated settlements and burial grounds, they are testimonies to the husbandry, social organization and rituals of pastoral peoples. Human settlements in the site are often multilayered and show occupation through the ages. A huge number of ancient tombs are also to be found including stone enclosures with boxes and cists (middle and late Bronze Age), and mounds (kurgans) of stone and earth (early Iron Age to the present). The central canyon contains the densest concentration of engravings and what are believed to be altars, suggesting that these places were used for sacrificial offerings
Saryarka – Steppe and Lakes of Northern Kazakhstan
Saryarka - Steppe and Lakes of Northern Kazakhstan comprises two protected areas: Naurzum State Nature Reserve and Korgalzhyn State Nature Reserve totalling 450,344 ha. It features wetlands of outstanding importance for migratory water birds, including globally threatened species, among them the extremely rare Siberian white crane, the Dalmatian pelican, Pallas’s fish eagle, to name but a few. These wetlands are key stopover points and crossroads on the Central Asian flyway of birds from Africa, Europe and South Asia to their breeding places in Western and Eastern Siberia. The 200,000 ha Central Asian steppe areas included in the property provide a valuable refuge for over half the species of the region’s steppe flora, a number of threatened bird species and the critically endangered Saiga antelope, formerly an abundant species much reduced by poaching. The property includes two groups of fresh and salt water lakes situated on a watershed between rivers flowing north to the Arctic and south into the Aral-Irtysh basin.
Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor
This property is a 5,000 km section of the extensive Silk Roads network, stretching from Chang’an/Luoyang, the central capital of China in the Han and Tang dynasties, to the Zhetysu region of Central Asia. It took shape between the 2nd century BC and 1st century AD and remained in use until the 16th century, linking multiple civilizations and facilitating far-reaching exchanges of activities in trade, religious beliefs, scientific knowledge, technological innovation, cultural practices and the arts. The thirty-three components included in the routes network include capital cities and palace complexes of various empires and Khan kingdoms, trading settlements, Buddhist cave temples, ancient paths, posthouses, passes, beacon towers, sections of The Great Wall, fortifications, tombs and religious buildings
Western Tien-Shan
The transnational property is located in the Tien-Shan mountain system, one of the largest mountain ranges in the world. Western Tien-Shan ranges in altitude from 700 to 4,503 m. It features diverse landscapes, which are home to exceptionally rich biodiversity. It is of global importance as a centre of origin for a number of cultivated fruit crops and is home to a great diversity of forest types and unique plant community associations.

In this video, we share one of the most heartwarming experiences we've had in Kyrgyzstan. Our homestay family in Karakol invited us to join them for a special celebration—a feast with their extended family to mark their mother's recovery from surgery. The warmth and hospitality of the Kyrgyz people have truly touched our hearts, and this unforgettable gathering reminded us of the deep connections that can be made through food and shared moments. It was a beautiful and meaningful experience that we'll carry with us for a lifetime.

From Burana Tower to Almaluu Yurt Camp - Kyrgyzstan 4K Travel Channel
After leaving Burana Tower, we drive back to the city of Tokmok and turn east. We follow the course of the Chu river. The valley is fertile and gets enough water by the river for the irrigation. The Chu river flows to Kazakhstan and seeps there into the steppe. Here it forms the border with Kazakhstan. There are also places where the border crosses the river and the road passes through the territory of Kazakhstan. These areas are then declared as transit zones.
Our journey leads upstream the Chu river and through a mighty valley to the Kyrgyz mountains. It is one of the biggest valleys is Kyrgyzstan. Besides the river and the highway, a railroad line also runs through the valley. We are pleased with the good condition of the street. But, drivers must always be prepared to be stopped by a police control.
The valley widens again and opens the view onto the Tian Shan with its snow-capped peaks. We leave the Chu river and make a short stop in the town of Balykchy to refuel. Then we drive to the south side of Issyk-Kul Lake. The Issyk-Kul is the second largest mountain lake on Earth and is located at 1607 m above sea level. On this evening, we can catch only a quick look at it.
We pass a series of villages that stretch along roads. They remind very much of Russian villages. In open terrain, you see more and more the desert-like sections, partly as rocky mountain foothills. More frequently we see yurts in the landscape.
Towards evening, also the cattle from the pasture is on the way home.
It is already dark when we reach the Almaluu Yurt Camp. The nice hosts serve us a wonderful dinner in the yurt.
