This piece of land located between Khewora and Chuasidan is called Kupar. A road leads from Ratoch village of Tehsil Choh Saidan Shah to Nali village. This place near Nali village is now a part of a desert. Looking at it, it seems that it is located in a desert. But there is also a building in Koper that used to be unique. Kusak Fort was founded and constructed during the 11th century, under the reign of Raja Jodh who was a son of Raja Mall Khan Janjua, the founder of Malot Fort. It was built on a 13 acres of land located near Jodh Mountain, a mountain which is named after Jodh dynasty, using red stone and local soil. A palace for the reigning king was also established near the fort along with around seventy houses for its small army.
In the 13th century, the fort faced an attack from Jalal-ud Din Khilji and his army.
In 1810, Ranjit Singh attacked the area with his army that forced Sultan Fateh Muhammad and his family to leave the fort. Later, the Janjua family migrated to Haranpur.

The Jhangar Valley in the scenic Salt Range is an amalgam of scenic mountains and fields. Though the whole valley is mystic, a signboard installed at Mughal Chowk near Lehr Sultanpur village (some 10km to the east of Choa Syedan Shah) has these words to proclaim: “Highway to Heaven.” The highway here should not send a perception of any vast road rather this narrow-rundown way has been tagged as “Highway to Heaven” because it leads to one of the most haunting spot of Jhangar Valley and that is Kusak village. The sleepy village of Kusak lies at the base of a mountain and at the peak of the mountain there lies the remains of Kusak Fort which are crying for preservation.

Choa Saidan Shah to Khewra Salt Mines | Chakwal
So after visiting Katas Raj Temple, we decided to go to Khewra Salt Mines. It was only 20 KM away but because of bad road and slow traffic, it took us almost an hour to reach.
But somehow I fell in love with this road. Although in very bad condition but slow moving trucks, scent of clay in air and beautiful weather, made this an hour trip, very pleasant.
