From Wikipedia:
Centreville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States and a suburb of Washington, D.C. The population was 74,230 at the 2020 census. Centreville is approximately 20 miles (32 km) west of Washington, D.C.
In the American Civil War, several battles were fought nearby including the First Battle of Manassas, the Second Battle of Manassas, and the Battle of Chantilly. During the winter of 1861 and early 1862 the town was significantly fortified by the Confederacy and served as a supply depot for both sides at various points in the war, and is famous for being the site of the construction of the first railroad ever built exclusively for military use, the Centreville Military Railroad. Centreville was of significant strategic value due to its proximity to several important roads, while its position atop a high ridge provided a commanding view of the surrounding area. The town was frequently associated with Confederate Colonel John S. Mosby, whose partisan rangers used its hillsides and farms as a base of operations, leading to the sobriquet Mosby's Confederacy.
In 1943, Centreville was a small town. As in much of Northern Virginia, Centreville experienced sustained population growth in the 1990s and 2000s. In 2021, the town has grown significantly. There are numerous shopping centers built around the town center.

10 Places in Tennessee You Shouldn't Move To
We can reel off the numerous beauties of Tennessee. In the Volunteer State, there’s plenty of sunshine and lots of wide open spaces. There are plenty of fabulous places that are truly ideal to live in, nice to visit, and convenient to raise families in this state. We have videos on this channel where we have itemized those cute locations. However, the state has a large number of places that outright suck. These are the worst places to live in Tennessee where you won’t want to move to if you can heputlp it. We can be friends if our thoughts on this are something you can consider. This video shows you the 10 places in Tennessee you shouldn’t move to. 10. Crossville Our heart goes out to over 11,000 residents of Crossville because of its unemployment rate which is 12.8 percent. Due to this, the poverty rate in the city is about 22.5 percent. Its median income is only 667 dollars. Considering that, you may rightly wonder how many residents of Crossville would be able to buy a home with a median value of 177,600 dollars or those that won’t default on the median rent of 667 dollars. No wonder it has such a high crime rate of 4,669.8 per 100,000 people which is about 99.05 percent above the national average. If you choose to ignore our advice and move to this city, please note that your chance of being robbed there is 1 in 10 if you spend a year or so there. 9. Dyersburg We don’t know how the people in Dyersburg would receive this. But they already know that no one will advise anyone to move to their small city. The only thing that can attract people to this place is its cheap home value. On a positive note, it has the cheapest homes in the entire state. While cheap homes are a welcome development, there’s nothing else to sustain life in the place. Though it’s called the Gateway to Everywhere, it’s not the gateway to prosperity and rest of mind. If it’s a gateway to anything, it is to crime and poverty. The employment rate here is just 8 percent. The crime rate in this historic southern town in the far northeast of the state is 6,797 per 100,000 people. 8. Newport If you move far east of Tennessee, you will find Newport. Just don’t plan to spend many days there as it’s one of the 10 places in Tennessee you shouldn’t move to in the first place. With a property crime rate of a whole 7,180 per 100,000. With less than 7,000 residents, this high crime rate is inadmissible. In this isolated city, crime is prevalent as it has the overall crime rate in Tennessee; the rate is three times higher than the national average. Its property crime rate is by far the highest in the state. If you move to this place, your chance of having your belonging stolen or your property damaged is 1 in 13 if the rate in 2020 is still anything to go by

George Washington was here...I don't know if he slept here but he was here.
We are going to find out what the civil war soldiers did when they were bored?
And do you know what famous item was taken from the courthouse after an ambush? Mmm?... So let's go bike riding.
bike riding inside the Civil war interpretive center to see the Blenheim House:
Civil War Soldiers looking for something to do decided to take their frustrations about the war by drawing all over the walls. Men scrawled their names, drawings, jokes, and even games on the walls. Boredom had to set in quickly, and there was little to do to pass the time. So, at some point soldiers started leaving their initials and dates
After the Blenheim house, we bike ride through a neighborhood that brings us to Daniels Run Park. This is about 2 miles through a wooded area that will bring us right into Downtown Fairfax. You might have to get off your bike to get through the town to the courthouse.
A bike ride through Historic Fairfax Courthouse 4000 Chain Bridge Rd. Fairfax Here is the location of the wills of George and Martha Washington are currently on display in the County Court Clerk's office. In the wee hours of the morning in 1861, about 200 Confederate Virginia troops stationed in front of the courthouse were ambushed by a surprise attack from Union soldiers. Due to a quick-thinking court clerk, he grabbed the will of George Washington jumped on a horse at night and took it to safety.
Bike ride off of 123. A spy amongst us: The Ford House on 3977 Chain Bridge Road was the home of a confederate spy, Antonia Ford. She was jailed and but fell in love with her jailer a union officer., Major Joseph C. Willard. She was released they married and Major Willard who was the owner of the Willard Hotel in DC.

George Mason Statue to touch the toe!
The bronze statue of George Mason was created by Wendy M. Ross and dedicated on April 12, 1996. The 7½ foot statue shows George Mason presenting his first draft of the Virginia Declaration of Rights which was later the basis for the U.S. constitution’s Bill of Rights. Beside Mr. Mason is a model of a writing table that is still in the study of Gunston Hall, Mason’s Virginia estate. The books on the table – volumes of Hume, Locke, and Rousseau – represent influences in his thought.
Please be a good steward of the land. Be aware, and bike with care.
