SYDNEY'S MOST BEAUTIFUL - Discover The Shire

My favourite place in Sydney! The Sutherland Shire! This is a visual through the events of 1 full day (and 1 night) in the Shire.

I was torn between voicing over the video and just letting the visuals and sound tell the story, I ended up opting for the later.

Locations in order are:

- Sunrise surf at Garie Beach (which by the way has some of the best most relaxed surfing in Sydney!)
- Scuba Diving at Kurnell with the Weedy Sea Dragons and some incredible coral gardens
- Coffee and food at Zimzala on Cronulla Beach overlooking the surf, and
- Camping in the Royal National Park to watch the stars!

While I have actually been working and producing content for the Sutherland Shire Council's Tourism department, this video is not part of or sponsored in any way by the Council. I have a range of scuba diving videos that are coming soon, showcasing some of the Sutherland Shire's best underwater sites (and they're incredible!), but this video is just something I threw together as a personal project. Hope you enjoy!

First half of video filmed on:

Panasonic Gx7
Panasonic 7-14mm wide angle lens
zhiyun crane
Nauticam underwater housing and dome port

Second half:
Sony A7III
Sony 16-35mm wide angle lens

WINTER IN BUNDEENA BEACH

This is Travel Footage of Bundeena, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Have you subscribe Follow our

Instagram

Bundeena is located 29 km south of the Sydney CBD and is part of the local government area of the Sutherland Shire. There are many beaches in Bundeena, such as Wattamolla beach, Horderns beach, and Jibbon beach you can drive or walk to those beaches.

Going To Beach in Winter? Why Not!
Bundeena is quite in Winter. The breeze and water are perfect to chill and calm yourself. A must place to visit in Winter, especially for you who want to step back a little from the crowd.

How to get here?
1. Take a train to Cronulla Station, then walk to Cronulla Wharf. From there take a ferry to Bundeena Wharf
2. Drive through Royal National Park. $12 entry fee, 30 minutes driving from Royal National Park gate.

For more info visit

Merry Beach Holiday Park. A water front weekend on the south coast of NSW.

Merry Beach Holiday Park. A water front weekend on the south coast of NSW.

I took the motorhome away for the weekend to Merry Beach and enjoyed water views from in and outside the van.

Merry beach is located on the south coast of NSW in Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the coast. Its about 2 hours 30 minutes drive from Wollongong or 3 hours 30 minutes from southern Sydney.

One good thing for campers, caravaners and motorhomers is that all the sites for this group are along the beach front. Both powered and unpowered site campers can sit out the front and watch the waves rolling in from their camp chairs.

There is power available for camping sites but no water taps for connecting into vans. There is drinking water available but they are located in nearby tanks, so id possible its best to bring your own water in with you.

There are ensuite sites but they are a row or two back from the front beach sites.

Merry Beach has all the facilities you need including a variety of cabins and camping sites, several modern amenity blocks, camp kitchens, resort pool and front office that sells the basic camping needs. There is also a general store and cafe around the corner.

Thanks for watching.

There are more than 100 beaches in Sydney, some more easily accessible than others but all worth a visit. We truly enjoyed visiting and spending relaxing time at these, in our opinion, top 10 beaches.

All of these beaches are accessible within 30 mins of bus, train or ferry ride from Sydney CBD.

Travel Review | NSW Royal National Park | Coastal Walk | Sydney Australia | Австралия Whale Watching

Travel Review | Royal National Park | Coastal Walk | Sydney Australia | Сидней | Австралия |whale watching

The Royal National Park is a protected national park that is located in Sutherland Shire in the Australian state of New South Wales, just south of Sydney. The 151-square-kilometre national park is about 29 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district near the localities of Loftus, Otford, and Waterfall.

It is the second oldest national park in the world after Yellowstone, which was established in the US in 1872. It was founded by Sir John Robertson, Acting Premier of New South Wales, and formally proclaimed on 26 April 1879. Its original name was just National Park, but it was renamed in 1955 after Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia passed by in the train during her 1954 tour. The park was added to the Australian National Heritage List in December 2006.

Sydney Travel Guide with magical Sydney Weather and Atmosphere

Sydney Travel Guide with magical Sydney Weather and Atmosphere

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania. Located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis surrounds Port Jackson and extends about 70 km (43.5 mi) on its periphery towards the Blue Mountains to the west, Hawkesbury to the north, and Macarthur to the south. Sydney is made up of 658 suburbs, 40 local government areas and 15 contiguous regions. Sydney is best known for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Massive Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby. Sydney Tower’s outdoor platform, the Skywalk, offers 360-degree views of the city and suburbs.

Brimming with history, nature, culture, art, fashion, cuisine, design, Sydney's set next to miles of ocean coastline and sandy surf beaches. Longterm immigration has led to the cities reputation as one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse cities in Australia and the world. The city is also home to the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, two of the most iconic structures on this planet.

Sydney has a compact city centre surrounded by sprawling suburbs, all coming together to form a vast and diverse metropolitan area.

Central Sydney including:

City Centre
The busy centre of government and finance, but also home to many famous attractions, fine restaurants, and shopping.

The Rocks
Just to the west of Circular Quay, now a cosmopolitan area, The Rocks includes the first colonial village of Sydney and the iconic Harbour Bridge.

Darling Harbour
An extensive leisure and entertainment area immediately to the west of the Central Business District (CBD). See restaurants, boardwalks, aquariums, wildlife, and museums by foot.

City South
The Haymarket, Chinatown and Central Station area is home to markets, cafes, Chinese culture and cuisine, and some cheaper accommodation and shopping.

City East
Kings Cross, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Moore Park. Busy nightlife, and coffee shops, fashion and entertainment by day.

City West
An early morning trip to the fish markets, exploring the Powerhouse Museum, finding a maritime pub or hitting The Star Casino.

Greater Sydney including Eastern Suburbs, Southern Sydney, Inner West, Lower North Shore, Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, North West, Parramatta, Sutherland Shire, South West, Outer West.

The city is among the top fifteen most-visited cities in the world, with millions of tourists coming each year to see the city's landmarks. Boasting over 1,000,000 ha (2,500,000 acres) of nature reserves and parks, its notable natural features include Sydney Harbour, the Royal National Park, Royal Botanic Garden and Hyde Park, the oldest parkland in the country. Built attractions such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House are also well known to international visitors. The main passenger airport serving the metropolitan area is Kingsford-Smith Airport, one of the world's oldest continually operating airports. Established in 1906, Central station, the largest and busiest railway station in the state, is the main hub of the city's rail network.
