DA NANG, VIETNAM: Are you looking for the best things to do in Da Nang, Vietnam? We just created a list of 17 must do activities for you to do while visiting Da Nang! In this Da Nang travel guide we show you around the Dragon Bridge, Hoi An Ancient Village, Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge, Lady Buddha and even take a ride on a River Boat. We also show you many Da Nang attractions like the 3D Museums, Cham Sculpture museum and more. There are many museums in Da Nang and several Beaches as well as my favorite area of Marble Mountains. Ha Long Bay is Overrated (Part 1) #shorts
After doing a 1 night 2 day cruise, our conclusion is that Ha Long Bay is overrated. It was one of the most expensive things we did in Vietnam and our least favourite. Yes, the views from the cruise are impressive, but once you get closer to the water when you go kayaking you’ll see the side of Ha Long Bay not shown on social media: all the plastic floating in the water. It is incredibly heartbreaking. We realize that maybe not everyone had this experience. Maybe it was a bad area, maybe it was bad timing, but this type of plastic is coming from somewhere and does not accumulate overnight. We really hope that this will be addressed in the future and that part of the money collected from these expensive cruises will go towards clean-up and education. There is a better area to visit in Vietnam with similar views and no plastic (we actually saw clean up crews helping maintain this area) and we had a much better experience there. Location of this place will be shared in our next post.

The international airport that serves Nha Trang is in fact closer to Cam Ranh city, but most people head straight to Nha Trang, not speding any time in the Cam Ranh area, which is a big mistake! We've travelled from Hanoi to Nha Trang in Vietnam. Nha Trang is famous for being a beach vacation destination in Vietnam and has some of the best beaches in all of Vietnam. We're staying on another island (Hon Tre Island) just off the coast of Nha Trang at the VinPearl Resort Nha Trang.

There is so much here on Hon Tre island including an entire theme park, VinWonders. At the time we visited Vietnam had recently reopened for tourism and the park was so quiet, we almost had it to ourselves. Within the theme park are loads of ride, castles, performances and even an aquarium. The island also has a water park, zoo and cable car.

After exploring the amusement park we head back to our resort to give a tour of the beach, the pool, our room and the amazing views of the water.

Cam Lap: The Best Kept Secret of Vietnam
I feel like Cam Lap, a rocky peninsula just south of Cam Ranh city is the best kept secret of Vietnam. Local sources call this area the Maldives of Vietnam, which is an exaggeration of course, but there are some stunning beaches, that's for sure! Some of them are remote, some are just next to the road, yet not so many people visit this beautiful place. Trash is a problem on many of the beaches, but that's not a problem that can't be solved. In this video I take you along as I visit Cam Lap on a day trip from Cam Ranh.
