Naast 'Fietsen door het Water' in Bokrijk heeft Limburg een tweede grote fietsbeleving: 'Fietsen door de Bomen' in Nationaal Park Bosland. Op dit fietspad geraak je veilig in hogere sferen. Letterlijk, want je fietst via een dubbele cirkel tot op 10 meter hoogte tussen de bomen. Je ziet, voelt en ruikt de natuurpracht.

Sightseeing In The Heart Of Limburg
Midden-Limburg has a very rich cultural heritage. Lovely mills, well-maintained castles, fortresses and country houses, are scattered across the region. Additionally, beautiful churches, basilicas, cathedrals, unique chapels and wayside shrines adorn the Roman Catholic South. The various monuments and industrial heritage sites are well worth a visit.
Achel Monastery Trappist Brewery on Belgium 🇧🇪 & Netherlands 🇳🇱 border
Finally, we were able to visit Achel, a famous Trappist Brewery on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium.
Please keep in mind that you should not come here for the food. There are a few dessert and sandwich options, but this visit is primarily about the beer. You can order a blond or a bruin beer in either draft or bottle form. The great thing about the abbey is that you can drink beer on a peaceful terrace in a rural setting while learning about the abbey's history during World War I—there is a Great War exhibition at the abbey. There is also a fantastic beer store with an incredible selection of Belgian beers. Definitely worth to visit as a beer lover!

Zandhappen op de hei / CP Budel. #46
🇳🇱 Een kort weekend naar camperplaats Budel waar we gewandeld hebben naar het dorpje en de volgende dag zandhappen op de heide. Heel veel zandpaden voor de militaire voertuigen waardoor er nauwelijks leuke wandelpaden aanwezig waren. Dit viel helaas een beetje tegen. Onderweg kwamen we een 🏍 motorcross vereniging tegen waar we met veel belangstelling hebben gekeken hoe de motoren voorbij sprongen.
