Unique Places in Budapest | 5 Things to Do in Pozsonyi Street | Hungary Travel Guide
In this video we'll show you a Unique Place in Budapest tourist guides often overlook: Tte Pozsonyi út, which is a hidden gem filled with restaurants, brunch places, cafes and shops!
When in Hungary, Budapest, The Margaret Boulevard is full of interesting sights you can enjoy as you make your way from one nice place to another while exploring the capitol. You may have been to Margaret Island or looked at the gorgeous looking Vígszínház theater, but you may have missed a little street right next to Margaret Bridge: The Pozsonyi út!
This street has many restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. If you want traditional Hungarian cuisine, want to explore how the local asian restaurants are, get hungry for spanish tapas, or want to try some italian, you'll surely find something that wont dissapoint.
The are also has many small artisan shops for baked goods, pizza slices, or sweet desserts.
There are also many cafes which focus on delivering a cozy experience along with some specialty coffee, so if you also enjoy coffee for its flavor, make sure to visit them! You can also buy some excellent coffee beans!
What's also really cool about the Pozsonyi street is that most places are pet friendly, there are even dedicated spaces on the street in case your little one needs to go!
It's impossible to call out all the places, even we didn't have the ability to visit every single establishment. We wish that this video inspires you to visit the area and explore it for yourself!

Wonders of Hungary - Kopaszi Dam, Budapest
In this episode of our series, we visit Kopaszi Dam, which has been an important leisure location for years in Budapest already, a perfect place for summer walks and to have a little chill out while great food and drinks are just at hand. This part of the city is in permanent renewal: fresh venues appear year by year. You find a beach and many types of water sports too. The recently finished MOL Campus tower has a lookout terrace where you can observe the city from a previously unavailable angle. A neighbourhood that's definitely a day's or at least an afternoon's worth!

Hungarian Food!! 🇭🇺 AMAZING GOULASH + Top Attractions in Budapest, Hungary!
🎥 Copenhagen Street Food Tour:
👍 100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY - One of the most spectacular cities in Europe, Budapest is a fantastic mix of delicious food loaded with paprika, and amazing attractions to visit. In this Hungarian food tour, we’ll eat delicious local food, and visit some of the most famous attractions. Get ready for a full tour of Budapest, Hungary! #Budapest #HungarianFood #goulash
St. Stephen's Basilica - Since it was on the way to the first restaurant, we stopped for a quick visit to St. Stephen's Basilica, a Roman Catholic basilica in the heart of Budapest. It’s spectacular.
Első Pesti Rétesház - Hungarian Restaurant - Located right in the heart of Budapest, around the corner from St. Stephen's Basilica is Első Pesti Rétesház. Local Hungarian friends had recommended the strudel there, so that’s exactly what I went for. I’m not sure about the other food, but their strudel is fantastic. I tried a sour cherry and a cabbage, both extraordinary. Total price - 1,300 HUF ($4.29)
Hungarian Parliament Building - Also known as the National Assembly of Hungary, this is a landmark and iconic building of Budapest.
Pozsonyi Kisvendeglo - But there was nothing I wanted more than to get started eating local Hungarian food on this tour. So we walked over to Pozsonyi Kisvendeglo, a local restaurant with an indoor section and lovely outdoor terrace. First I ordered one of their specialities, bone marrow with garlic and toast. Then without a doubt, there was nothing I wanted to eat more than Hungarian goulash, the most well known of all Hungarian food. Their goulash was outstanding, flavorful from paprika, and loaded with tender chunks of beef. Additionally, their Pörkölt, a Hungarian meat stew, served with pasta dumplings, was delicious. Ying had the steak with mushrooms, also fantastic. Great Hungarian food! Total price - 8,400 HUF ($27.69) for everything
Matthias Church - Church of the Assumption of the Buda Castle - After lunch we walked across the river to Matthias Church, which was very busy, and unfortunately it wasn’t open on the inside due to a wedding. But the outside was still worth a visit.
Buda Castle - Royal Palace - Finally, the last of the Budapest attractions we visited on this tour was Buda Castle. And then we were ready to eat again!
Náncsi Néni - Located not too far, but outside the limits of Budapest, is a restaurant that I really wanted to try, and so we caught a taxi directly there. Náncsi Néni is exactly what I was hoping for, a local Hungarian food restaurant, serving traditional Hungarian dishes, all within a picturesque tree shaded courtyard. We tried the catfish paprikash stew, and the roasted duck with liver. Both were delicious. Náncsi Néni is a little more of a Hungarian upscale restaurant, but it was well worth it, for the food and ambiance, and it’s a great place for kids too. 18,300 HUF ($60.33) - Total price for everything
Thank you for watching this Hungarian food tour of Budapest, and I hope you have an amazing time when you visit!

WHERE TO STAY IN BUDAPEST: A DISTRICT GUIDE -- True Guide Budapest
The city of Budapest covers more than 500 square kilometers. It is split down the middle by the River Danube, with the residential and hilly Buda on the west side, and the commercial, flat Pest on the east side of it. Budapest has 23 districts (kerület in Hungarian), which are numbered clockwise in widening circles (like Paris' arrondissements). It is easy to find the district from the address of a location, as the two middle digits of the four number zip code indicate it (for example: zip code 1056 means 5th district).
I created this district guide to help you choose where to stay in Budapest depending on the atmosphere and your travel style.
DISTRICT I.: romantic / first time visit
this is the castle district
DISTRICTS II., III., OR XII.: to enjoy greenery and relax
these are all on the hilly Buda side (Rózsadomb, Óbuda, Svábhegy)
DISTRICT V.: the downtown, ideal for business or for families with smaller kids
the city centre (Belváros)
DISTRICT VI.: on a budget and/or to enjoy the culture of the city
this are is called Terézváros
DISTRICT VII.: the Jewish neighborhood but also has great nightlife
this are is called Erzsébetváros
DISTRICTS VIII. AND IX.: cool but perhaps rough neighborhoods
they are called Józsefváros and Ferencváros
DISTRICTS IV. AND X.: they are mainly lower middle class residential and industrial districts
they are called Újpest and Kőbánya
DISTRICTS XI., XIII., AND XIV.: primarily upper middle class residential
district XI. is called Újbuda (on the Buda side), XIII. is Újlipótváros and XIV. is Zugló.
ALL OTHER DISTRICTS (XV., XVI., XVII., XVIII., XIX., XX., XXI., XXII., XXIII.) are further out from the city

I am a proud local Hungarian living in Budapest.
I was born and have lived in this beautiful city, Budapest for decades. I am in love with it - and not because I haven’t seen anything else. I am a seasoned traveller and I have also spent many years living abroad. However, my heart (and wife, and jobs and goulash soup and lángos) have pulled me back to my birth town. I love this city and know it inside out.
If you are fed up with the formal (and often wrong) recommendations of guide books, then follow my channel to find advice from a real local. I give you practical tips, show you cool spots and help you avoid tourist traps.
I live and love Budapest, I want to share my tips with you.

Budapest District 8 [4k Ultra HD 60fps ]
The 8th district of Budapest, also known as Józsefváros, is one of the inner districts of the city. It is located in the central part of Budapest and is known for its mix of historic and modern architecture, vibrant cultural scene, and lively atmosphere.
In recent years, Józsefváros has undergone significant development and gentrification, and many of its older buildings have been renovated and transformed into modern apartments and office spaces. This has made the district a popular place to live and work for both locals and expatriates.

ബുഡാപെസ്റ്റിലൂടെ ഓട്ടപ്രദക്ഷിണം | EP 12 - Exploring Budapest, Hungary | Europe Travel Series
Budapest is the capital city of Hungary. With a unique, youthful atmosphere, world-class classical music scene, a pulsating nightlife increasingly appreciated among European youth, and last but not least, an exceptional offer of natural thermal baths, Budapest is one of Europe's most delightful and enjoyable cities. Due to the exceedingly scenic setting, and its architecture it is nicknamed Paris of the East.
The modern-day Budapest results from the amalgamation of two historic cities lying right opposite each other over the Danube river. Buda is the western (left) bank side, with the high hill atop which the Buda castle sits. Pest is the relatively flat eastern (right) bank side, with the Parliament, numerous other stately buildings, and busy streets retaining all their 19th century architectural heritage.
In 1987 Budapest was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List for the cultural and architectural significance of the Banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter and Andrássy Avenue.

This was the best experience of my life! From the thermal baths, to the food, to the fireworks. I would totally visit again and you too should try and go if you can.

Budafok, 22nd district of Budapest
#magyarorszag #budapest #Városház
Budafok is one of the county towns annexed to Budapest in 1950 when the Great Budapest was created, today it is a Budapest part of the city in district XXII. Before its annexation to the capital, it also included the Kelenvölgy district, which was annexed to district XI in 1950.
The history of Budafok dates back to the Middle Ages, its town status was very young in comparison, it was established in 1926 as a town with an orderly council.
Budapest az európai legjobb úti cél - Maximilien Lejeune, European Best Destination ... 1.
„Budapest az európai legjobb úti cél” - European Best Destination 2019 Budapest díjat vett át Tarlós István, Budapest főpolgármestere - Maximilien Lejeune-től , az European Best Destination vezetőjétől, 2019. március 7-én, a Városházán. 2019. január 15. és február 5. között lehetett szavazni. Budapest 62 128 szavazatot kapott.
A mostani szavazáson 153 országból közel félmillió voks érkezett.
A legjobb desztináció egész évre szóló promócióban részesül a European Best Destinations weboldalon, a legrangosabb nemzetközi utazási, gazdasági és életmód médiumokban, számos social media felületen és utazási portálon. A legjobb úti célra érkező turisták száma korábbi tapasztalatok alapján várhatóan jelentősen emelkedni fog a versenyt szervező cég egész éves kampányának köszönhetően.
A legjobb európai út célok 2019-ben: 1. Budapest, Magyarország, 2. Braga, Portugália, 3. Monte Isola, Olaszország, 4. Metz, Franciaország, 5. Poznan, Lengyelország, 6. Malaga, Spanyolország, 7.
