#1. Beignets at Cafe du Monde or anywhere you can find them in the city. They are Fried French Donuts covered in powdered sugar. A mess for sure, but worth every bite. Best to have with a Cafe au Lait.
#2. Seafood - New Orleans is on the gulf coast and the Misssissippi river and there are numerous seafood and riverfood options. Our favorites are the char-grilled oysters, but you can have oysters on the half shell, fried and in so many ways. There are numerous gulf fish you can enjoy as well as catfish. Crawfish, shrimp and crab also come in many delicious dishes in New Orleans.
#3. Po' Boys - a New Orleans sandwich can come in many varieties. Fried Oysters & Shrimp is a classic, but there are many ways to enjoy a sandwich in New Orleans. Another classic New Orleans sandwich is a Muffaletta, italian cold cuts with an olive spread on top.
#4. A Cup of Love - whether a cup to start off with or as a whole meal, seafood Gumbo, Jambalaya, Red Beans & Rice, and Étouffée are amazing dishes to have.

Un record de viteză de 210 km/h, pe linia de testări de viteză de la Făurei, a fost înregistrat de SRCF Galaţi.
CFR SA a desfăşurat în perioada 2 mai - 7 iunie 2023, cu personalul specializat al SRCF Galaţi, lucrările de reparaţii la suprastructura feroviară şi instalaţiile aferente liniei de contact pe Inelul Mare Făurei (13,7 km), iar joi s-a efectuat cursa de probă cu o locomotive a operatorului naţional de transport feroviar de călători, care a atins viteză maximă de circulaţie de 210 km/h, un nou record de viteză stabilit pe Inelul Mare de la Făurei, din cadrul Centrului de Testări Feroviare.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)
We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Italy & France | SACRO MONTE DI ORTA world heritage site and then travel back home to the UK | Ep 64
Join us on our travels! About this episode:
As we enjoy the airbnb in Premosello-Chiovenda, Italy, we venture out to get some fresh air and stumble across Sacro Monte di Orta a World Heritage site and one that we had all to ourselves 😃 Beautiful!
As we leave Italy we head towards France through the Simplon Tunnel and we are excited to be heading back up north homeward bound. As we get to the border of France we actually start to see some sunshine and have the discussions around the haunted airbnb that we stayed in 😱. We leave the beautiful town of Dole and continue north towards La Foret d'Orient where we jump out and give ourselves a stretch of the legs. Final stop Wimereux before jumping on the Eurotunnel back home!
