There's also a large lake nearby named promptly, Brookville Lake that sees many tourists per year for boating and whatnot. The downtown area is as cute as could be with diners, historic homes, picturesque backdrops, and the beautiful hills/rivers of southern Indiana. On this trip, no highways were taken, only sideroads and small town country drivin'!

Historic Marlin's Opera House, Brookville, PA
A short documentary about Marlin's Opera House in Brookville, PA presented and narrated by David Talor. The Opera House opened in 1886 and ran successfully through 1907. Thereafter is sat pretty much vacant and unaltered until it was opened in 2012 for a new stage production. Renovation of the historic Opera House continues.

I had a lot of fun flying around Brookville Lake Fathers Day weekend 2020. Challenging flying through the boat masts in the harbor. I also got to play Harbor Links At Sagamore Resort golf course (which can be seen from this video) and that was also a great time.
Scripture Rocks Heritage Park
PA Great Outdoors region is a big, beautiful part of Pennsylvania and home to Scripture Rocks Heritage Park. Scripture Rocks features beautiful walking trails through over 70 large boulders with cryptic messages and mysterious testaments that were painstakingly carved by Douglas Stahlman in the early 1900s. Stahlman began inscribing and praying at the large rock outcroppings in the woodlands around Brookville. Before long, he developed a following and created an outdoor church where he and his followers would hold services.
Death rock, money rock, and chapel rock are just some of the carvings that make Scripture Rocks Heritage Park one of the top 10 most interesting places to visit in Pennsylvania.
